While I'd love to see Hatton fight Cotto or Mayweather...I'd rather him fight Witter & pull out all the stops on a unification run.

Hatton is best suited at 140lbs. Make a run of it.
Sorry Wack, and you know how I hate ( ) to contradict you, but this time I'm afraid I must. Witter won a vacant title by beating DeMarcus Corley, and since then has made no proper meaningful defences of the title, with Morua hardly being more than a good regional fighter. Yes they'll probably fill out a good sized arena with Hatton fans, and yes it will allow Hatton to win another belt, but ultimately the reason so many fighters avoid Witter isn't that he's so much better than them, it's because he's boring to watch and doesn't have a large fanbase, and doesn't get involved in interesting fights. Hatton's finally got himself back on track with a cracking fight over the weekend, why go into another snoozer?

I doubt they will ever meet while Shitter Witter has the WBC belt which despite Warren and Ingle trying to hand pick his fights which they are very skilled at the WBC is not the WBO where Warren and Ingle control the WBC will make him fight someone good witter will loose title then he may fight Hatton, Hatton would win but what good would that do on the world scene nobody outside the UK knows who Witter is lucky for them, the mouthy prick would be destroyed by hatton, Hatton is looking at Mayweather and Oscar De La Hoya, not a stupid twat like witter, it would be good news for UK fans as we would then see the end of the little nobody.

Witter is a joke, he calls out Hatton but also read once he thinks the fight should be 50/50!!!

Witter has the WBC strap so fucking what? Lets be honest it's like the other guy said, Why dont Floyd fught the likes of Ndou Torres Cintron?? Witter is in the same boat a World champ who brings nothing after Saturday performance Hatton wants the big fights Witter is step backwards imo.

What if Witter demolishes Harris then does he deserve a fight with Hatton

You really think that will happen? Witter will sit back and fight his boring fight as usual.

I want them to fight. I don't know if I'm the only person here who thinks like this but I don't really like Hatton's talk of not wanting to give Witter a payday.

At the end of the day Witter is still a British fighter and I think that the top domestic fighters have a duty to the sport at domestic level to provide the fans with the opportunity to see their nations best fighters go head to head.

Witter may not be exciting to watch but he's earned his status as a world champ, (alpahbet titlist at least) and is without a doubt Ricky Hatton's number 1 domestic rival.

Hatton should come home and put on a big domestic showdown for the fans and one that ideally would be on free television in the UK.

Help generate interest in British boxing amongst it's casual sports fans.

With Witter now fighting in September i can't see this fight being made this year, Hatton will fight again between October-December and by the time Witter fights Harris Hatton would have signed on to fight someone else.. Malignaggi ?
Witter would have to be prepared to fight less than 8 weeks after the Harris fight.
There is no doubt that by the end of the year Cotto V Margo will be on or Floyd will take the bait!
Hatton is in the box seat here for big mega fights!

I'd have to say that I would like to see Witter and Hatton fight. But first Witter has to beat Vivian Harris, who on paper at least, is his toughest opponent ever. Harris could beat Witter, and then Witter would never get the Hatton fight.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
