I don't know about that. Even if he wins, he hasn't fully proved himself at Cruiser yet. For me, he needs to unify the division before anything like that, and Cruiser is very exciting at the mo. While there are still fights, and he is still making the weight comfortably, he should stay at Cruiser IMO.

Welsh prospect Nathan Cleverly is going to be fighting against Ayittey Powers on this bill according to FWTV:

    http://www.frankwarren.tv/drill/News...ts-powers.html

Powers is an above average journeyman, and ought to give Cleverly a decent workout and the biggest challenge in his career so far, I reckon. Who knows, maybe Frank is taking criticism on board and putting his boys in real fights earlier in their career, although this one is Cleverly's 10th outing.

Confirmed in Boxing News magazine. Cheers bro.

I'm surprised Powers is fighting. It was like 2 weeks ago he was beaten by Dean Francis. Think this makes it less of a gamble. Cleverly should come out on top.

I've updated the card at the start of the thread after boxing news comfirmed that Edinburgh's Kenny Anderson (2-0-0)is fighting Sheffield's Dean Walker (11-14-3) and that Nathan Cleverly (9-0-0) is fighting Ayittey Powers (13-8-1).

Thanks for stickying the thread Smash. . My first one.

It's not making it sticky that's the trouble...its washing the darn thing off.

Excuse my stupid question but I'm going to be back in Blighty for the first time in 7 years this week. Is the fight on free tele?

Yup, the Enzo fight is on ITV1 and the M'baye v Rees fight and Alex Arthur fight are on ITV4. Think Frank signed the deal for them a week or so ago, so it was a bit last minute.

    ARTHUR EXPECTING TOUGH NIGHT

Alex Arthur is expecting a tricky night in his WBO super-featherweight interim title bout against Kobo Gogoladze at the Cardiff International Arena next Saturday.

Surely that's the same story as the other one about Arthur on ITV....I assume they've both come from similar press releases looking at the summary of them both. Anyhow, unfortunately I won't be making it down this weekend as I made a promise that I'd house sit for momma and pops on their wedding anniversary. And they don't even have ITV4....

I dunno...I'll see if I can wire up my laptop to a connection somewhere in their house where I can see the TV. More details on Friday, when I've had a look at it. Also, unfortunately, no RBR on Lynes v Muttley on Friday night.
