still..This fight has come about 7 odd years too late
Roy will never make Middleweight again.
    hmm yess prob tru..

but he hadnt ruled it out apparently
Unless Tito can't make it to atleast Supermiddleweight no way is this fight happening and i wouldn't want to see it either.

IF Roy wins his next fight this fight would make sence...for Roy. Tito is the perfect style for Jones, and I doubt he would be a big puncher at Lt. Heavyweight. Trinidad is making a mistake if he fights him thinking he is washed up because Jones is still a washed up light heavyweight and Tito cant compete with that at this point imo. Middleweight was even a struggle for him.

I'd be willing to bet any money this fight never happens.

First, Roy has to win on July 14th. That's hardly a sure thing anymore considering Roy's age.
Then, Roy and Tito have to actually agree to money terms. Roy is one of the most stubborn fighters out there, so I have big doubts they'll ever be able to agree.
Then, they have to agree on weight. There is no way in hell Roy Jones can make 160, I have serious questions about whether he can even make 168.

I've said all along... if Tito comes back for a big fight, it will be for a rematch with Oscar.

I remember when Trinidad had just beaten joppy, Jones team wanted roy to move down to Super middle to face Calzaghe to prepare him for Felix

Now how stupid does that sound in retrospect

Could you imagine if Tito came back at 168lbs and started knocking people out? Yeah me neither

You gotta hand it to the guy he doesn't pick em easy. Out of Taylor, Maywether and Jones Jr, RJJ is probobly the toughest because of the weight...Assuming it is at 175. I hope he doesn't make a fool out of himself and gives Roy all he can handle.
Trinidad is probably banking on the fact that Roy was knocked out twice recently. But I think Roy handles Tito easily. Who do you guys think has more experience?

I think it'd be a good legend fight, and at the stage of their careers, as they're both past it they can consider it a big win for whoever wins. However, it's no more than that. I'm still happy to see it though.

I think I'd probably tune in if this fight was on TV, even if neither are in their prime, and they're both fading names. However, the winner of the fight would probably have a justifiable claim to go on and get some sort of an alphabet title fight. If it is made, I don't think Tito should go above Super-Middle, cause RJJ surely can make that weight, he wasn't looking totally toned at light-heavy last time out.

Ah yes, he probably just saw a new yacht he'd like, so thought he'd fight once more to buy that....but then, he might see a new sports car he wants...fight once more....who knows.

If this fight being made means Roy will fight at 160 he fight will not happen. I have seen pictures of Tito lately and he is bigger. I think he probably thinks he can handle the higher weights. My guess is 168 or 175

I can't wait to see it! He's gonna pull in some big bucks RJJ and Tito would make a packet from this.
