Kahn needs to be more disciplined, he is a great talent, he needs to keep learning and he will be fine imo.
Limond was fighting guys with losing records or boxers with just about winning records plus Limond had no power.

Khan changed his game and came alot better after he got put down... he still beats thaxton... he will be better prepared, don't think much of his team tho... could do with a better trainer, Enzo C, mayweather SR would be perfect for him..

Kahn has the ability not to have his chin tested, he does leave that chin in range after firing his rapid shots, but he is still a 13 fight 21 year old novice, i think this gave him the world of good this sort of fight and i feel he will learn loads from it, bit similar to David Haye against Carl Thompson.

Difference is Thompson could bang even though he was old he still was tough and could bang and in that fight it was Hayes stamina that let him down when Khan comes up against hard hitter i think its curtains for Khan.

Yes totally agree, but Limond is no sloutch mate, Kahn will be better for the experience imo, im saying it's similar in that both guys fought they were invincible and found out they were not, so Kahn will go back to the drawing board and come back batter, Kahn has the skiils but needs the guidance for his chin to not be tested, i wouldnt say it was a glass chin, Kahn admires his work to much and has his chin square on and anyone who throws a good punch will stun him with the way he does that, Limond is pretty average power 8ko's in 29 fights proves this, but Kahn is getting stronger and has great talent, if he improves his defense he will still go far imo. Im not writing Khan off just yet, he is 21 and fought 13 times!!! Limond was a seasoned vet who is in his prime, not the greatest fighter but he was a commenwealth champion.

I don't think he will be world champion but with his suspect chin and exciting style when he fights likes of Thaxton or Earl you can gurantee they will be cracking fights.

Shame all the hate in here from people who where cheering when he won the semi-final in the Olympics And after all of his other fights. Khan will go away, improve his defence, have a few more fights and the fight Thaxton. Khan WILL beat Thaxton, i promise you.

It is possible to be criticle without being a hater, it doesnt have to be so black and white. Question marks have hung over Khans chin since day one, what happened last night is all the confirmation some people need. I'd hardly call that hating.

When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

Thaxton should have what it takes to K.O Kahn . Limond was a superfeather moving up with no power . Thaxton is a light welter moving down who has power . He took Hatton 12 without going down so I dont see how Kahn will provide any problems and as soon as Thaxton lands Kahns chin will shatter .

Khan has a punchers chance i suppose but he will have to hide his chin and get on his bike, Thaxton's over the hill but still has a really good punch, Khan should go to the States and get some proper sparring and coaching, Manny Stewart is great with guys who are great punchers and have weak chins, like Khan, funny great punchers seam to have glass jaws.

i wouldnt call Kahn a great puncher to be honest, he just needs to work on his defence and he will be fine he has the abilty and speed to be a great defensive fighter.

I wouldn't say Khan is a great puncher, good puncher with great attacking technique and speed more like.

I think he would beat Thaxton, but after that he wont go much further. When he is ready for world class he'll weigh between 140-147lbs and wont stand a chance against any light welter or welter at world level

Khan was caught with not one, but four punches to put him down, so I don't know where this Limmond can't hit stuff is coming from. He does not have alot of power, but 4 head hits will send almost anyoneto the canvas. Khan was walking about with his chin up and that's what cost him.
TBH I'm glad he hit the canvas as it will open his eyes to how tough his chosen proffession is and will hopefully make him a better fighter.
