I don't want Tito to come back anymore than you do. He's got N-O-T-H-I-N-G to prove. He's a sure lock HOF'er, with a record others can only wish they had. As for "anyone with technical skills and a defense makes Trinidad look silly".... that's the same ol' song and dance we've heard since Day One. Wacko, you know we'll never see eye-to-eye on this. To say what you said is to dis every fighter Tito ever beat in his illustrious career. I keep harping that fighters like Oba Carr were VERY good boxers, but somehow that always gets swept under the carpet, like it never happened. Go back and watch some vintage Tito fights. He's better than you give him credit for. And for the record, the only way I'd like to see him come back would be against De La Hoya at 160 pounds. I'm not a betting man, but I'd make an exception for this one.Originally Posted by wacko3205
Why would you bet on Tito this time around, would they appoint the same judgesOriginally Posted by TitoFan

Listen man, that was no typo. I can say he's not a class boxer with a straight face. I'm not like you who believe in whoever hbo or boxing writers or whoever are hyping. I think for myself and believe in only what I see.Originally Posted by p4pking
Fact is that hopkins biggest claim to fame is beating two fighters that started their careers about 4 or 5 weight classes lower than he did. Oh yeah and he defended his belt a bunch of times against mostly unworthy opponents and he even fought some of them 2 or 3 times
I would take Titos career over that one all day.

Right. Because HBO hyped Hopkins all the way, he was just their posterboy from day one... Oh wait, that sounds more like another fighter.. I think maybe I recognize him from your avatarOriginally Posted by Bx730NY
And hey, I like watching Tito's fights a great deal. He was a great fighter. A great fighter that Hopkins put on a complete clinic against. Hopkins also gave a near prime Roy Jones his most competitive fight as a relative amatuer to the pro's, and moved up two weight classes to dethrone the ring champ at LH at the age of 42. Combine that with Ko's over Oscar, Tito, and 18 other title defences against many solid or excellent pro's, and Id say Tito's career is nowhere near Hopkins. Oh and how will you feel if he beats Wright this weekend, will that just be another win over a smaller guy, although Hopkins just moved up at old age himself and they fought their whole careers 6 lbs apart? Or will it be a win against another dirty fighter who used those cheap boxing skills and that classless punch, what's it called.... Oh yeah, a jab? when he also humiliated your hero

Your biterness is pathetic.
I just hope the judging isn't all fubar'd.

What you call bitterness, I call call boxing knowledge. Now what you consider boxing knowledge is what consider pathetic. You are a aboard every hype train man, I've read your posts.Originally Posted by p4pking
I wonder why hopkins didn't give Tito a rematch BTW.
