honestly i think hes even shitter after seeing that atrocity, mbaye should never be given even a regional titel shot ever again tho, all he had to do was lead with a F****** right hand a few times
I've been telling people all week that M'baye fluked a world title, and that he was just an average counter fighter, but from what I've heard he was almost embarrassing in there. Again, I think Rees isn't really a natural light-welter, being a bit too small for it, but he's showed enough to win, and it is a legit WBA title after all....so no Warren's Boxing Organisation digs on this one.

    Default Rees wins poor fight

Rees fought well but the fight was poor, Warren nets another belt, M'baye never really turned up, i might be taking something away from Rees saying that but thats what it look like.
Did'nt like his piss taking at the end no need for it poor atitude to have does'nt win you friends, but he won, and good look i think he may need it.

Mbaye was a disgrace i dont think he is elite or anything but i saw him against the Argentinian boxer a couple of fights back and he looked ok, but tonight? What was that?

Also it was for the WBA Strap not the Warren Organisation.

To be honest with you, M'baye just didn't show up for the fight looking at the highlights, and quite simply since winning the belt he has done nothing to prove that he deserves to be the champion. He was lucky to hang on to the belt against Kotelnik, and losing tonight was not a surprise to me, whatever everyone else thinks.

I was quite clear from very early on that M'Baye didnt have a clue what to do with Rees. That could have gone on for twenty rounds and he wouldnt have been any closer to winning. Absolutely terrible showing, no clue, no bollocks, and no belt.

Default Wow only just have I learned how awful M'Baye really is................

Just saw on boxingtalk, Gavin Rees' record is 27-0 with.....wait for it...........0 KO's!!!!!!!

According to boxingtalk historians are now going through the archives to check if he is unique.

It appears that he's the first and ONLY fighter in the history of boxing to win a world title having never stopped a single opponent in his entire career.

This guy makes Sergio Mora and Paulie Malignaggi look like bangers

Well done little guy any how, you won't be champ for long but at least you did it.

    M'Baye...........give it up mate.

Ah just checked his boxrec record, well surely that counts as 13 KO's

My apologies, I only quoted what boxingtalk said about him here

How misleading and unfair, ih he's got 13 tko's then he has 13 ko's imo

I wouldn't have posted it if I would have known that. What a misleading shitty piece of journalistic sleight of hand that was by BoxingTalk, a to them

Well done to Rees and all, but this just goes to show that boxing at the minute isn't working. You've got Gavin Rees with a "respected" version of a world title, and you've got Manny Pacquiao and Ricky Hatton without. Luckily the boxing community successfully crowns their own champions, it's a shame the officials can't do the same.

When Gavin Rees was ducking down Mbaye would have had to punch about the same height as his knees. He was clueless yesterday and even when Rees would skip back to take a breather Mbaye never pressed the action.

He got what he deserved tonight and goes him without his title.

Yeah I read that article yesterday also. I just so happened to remember watching a fight Rees got a TKO in and I was thinking "are they talking about a different Gavin Rees?" Checked out boxrec and saw he had 13 TKO's. It seems someone did some fact checking because they have changed it now.
