I guess we are all guilty of doing it at some point, its hard to accept seeing our favorite fighters loose expecially when we are convinced they are gonna win.

Everybody to some extent has made excuses but I don't think there are that many totally blind fans around here. I can think of some quickly but there aren't that many. Or maybe I'm just in an optimistic mood.

But I think we make excuses and were not always totally honest. For one thing, a lot of times I think we build up opponents of our favorite fighters in order to make that win (assuming your fighters does win) look more impressive. I'm sure I've done it some (if I start to comment on Sergio Mora's sublime boxing skills that probably means I'm doing it again), and some people are notorious around here for doing that. Or on the other hand, people that dislike a certain fighter might S*** on a future opponent of that guy to make that win look less impressive. I'm not saying we all do that all the time but its clearly done at times.
