Round 3 had the most back and forth action, I think they both got wobbled. Yeah Vasquez had some mean cuts on both eyes above the eye no less...Marquez had a nice gash under one of his eyes too. I cant say this enough...what a fight and what a pair of fighters. We arent gonna see two high level pros so evenly matched for awhile. Seriously its almost like a coin flip when these guys meet up. If pt 3 is anywhere near Cali, I will fork over whatever it takes to be ringside. I bet the third fight ends up in Vegas, give these guys some big bucks they definately deserve it. Props to both.

One of the 1st things that popped into my head as the fight finished was I gotta be at the 3rd fight....
Then I said I'm willing to bet the 3rd one lands in Vegas, these guys deserves the big money... I came on Saddos and posted just that.

Huge round of applause to Vasquez for that what heart and determination he showed tonight...

This is BIG man, this could possibly be one of the best most even trilogies in history....

1 things for sure the 3rd match will be huge and in Vegas.

I'm wondering how Marquez will handle this loss, I mean the guy ain't lost since 2000 that's 7 fwocken yrs. without tasting defeat....
Will he cope with the loss and come back strong?
Or
Will the loss effect his spirit and just haunt him?

I can't wait for the 3rd fight it will definetly be one of the most anticpated fights of the last year, along with Kess vs. Joe.

Cool, thanks. It'll take a while to watch them on my slow ass internet connection but I'll try and check them out. I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that this is the 1st time I've seen either of these guys fight. I don't really know all that much about the weight classes below 130. I'd obviously heard of Marquez and Vasquez, but I'd never watched them fight before, that's got to be the round of the year so far.

Well about not watching the smaller guys I can see how some people overlook them.
Take the Hobbit Bilbo he thinks any guy who weighs less then the amount of shit he dumps is not worth it.
He thinks both Vasquez and Marquez are not worthy of praise, he also does not acknowledge Ricardo Lopez as one of the best P4P fighters ever and feels he get destroyed IF he waighed the same as other P4P fighters and they met.

I will say this much the smaller weight classes will always be exciting it's just a matter of you as fan getting into it.

My favorite divisions are basically the middle ones like 130 - 168, I've just never had too many opportunities to watch the lower weight classes, but I'll definately try to do a better job of checking out the other divisions. I'm a somewhat recent convert to boxing so that combined with the lack of real exposure of the lower divisions probably explains at least some of my ignorance.
Do you go to the fights and take pics on behalf of Saddo's or do you do it anyways and just happen to post them on here? From those pics It looks like you had some pretty damn good seats, I've never actually been to a live fight, but I'm hoping to change that soon.

Ok, I have now seen the fight a total of 37 times in 2 days.....

Having said that I can almost guarantee that round 3 of their rematch fight will get the round of the year award....
Truly amazing...

Next time... how about name the video "sand walk" or some boring name like that, so it doesn't get tagged as a "vasquez marquez" fight... so that the showtime ppl won't find it so fast?

Looks to me that Marquez is deteriorating right before my eyes in that round. Out on his sheild, it's more his round than Vasquez in respect that he's showing more guts and glory as he's ready to be taken. GREAT FIGHT!
