I'm probably the only person on the board who is looking forward to this.

I don't think so .......I don't really see this as that bad of a fight, and by the time all the b.s. staged fights at press conferences, trash talking and i hate him he hates me theatrics are done, they may even get some of the casual fans to buy in as well because of the names.

I got a kick hearing all those goofy sound effects King was making. He is so happy and excited like only money can make him be.

And Trinidad reading off the paper "I am waiting to knook...knock you out". Then later on he accidentally threatens to knock out RJJ's lawyer, good stuff! Nice job posting the vid Puya cc
Of course Don King is happy. He's run out of fighters and this is the only big fight for him. He's got nothing left but this fight and he is thrilled that it is made.

I wouldnt mind seeing Tito win,(anyone else think he was drunk in that video?)but I'm dreading a RJJ win, which is most likely at this weight. I'm just waiting for RJJ to start blabbering that he's the greatest because he beat a future HOF fighter....I think his problem is that he really believes Don King when he's in his ear telling him he's the King and greatest right now P4P.

Roy cant even understand him Tito must sound even funnier on speakerphone. He gonna get his @ss handed to him. The truth is Tito has never outboxed a great boxer, and everytime he has fought one in the last 7 years he has lost. Tito was a good puncher up to 154, but anything above he doesnt have the power or skills to match RJJ, Hopkins, Wright, Tarver, or whoever which is why he should stay retired.

CC Boom Boom. Roy is to big for Trinidad and we will have same outcome as the Hopkins fight.

Have a return cc I think your right it will be a lot like the Hop fight, maybe worse cause this fight is at 170.

Not really, but I will watch it if i'm not doing anything else. Two fighters way past their prime who have nothing to prove.......no need for it.

I'm sure we are talking of different Trinidad's: Campas (56-0 ~50KO), Carr, Whitaker, De La Hoya, Reid, Vargas, Joppy, and I may be missing some other names on his 42 victories and only 2 losses with 35 KO. But, it seems that in your book Tito fought 2 times in the last 7 years.

Starting with his last fight at 147, Tito fought 5 World Champions (3 undeafeated) in three (3) weight divisions and one mandatory fight, and just lost one fight (Hopkins).

    LMFAO

WTF?? Is this hahahahahaha, this is sad obviously Tito has run out of cash, even a shot RJJ will beat Tito quite easily especially at 170, Tito was a small 160lb imo, RRJ easy win.

On another note i heard theres a couple of crackers on the undercard.

    Chevez v Whittaker at 175

    Naz v Toney at Heaveyweight

Should be a good night of boxing

No way was that RJJ on the phone he just accepts Tito saying hes going to knock you out?? Im quite sure that wasnt Roy.

That's what i thought, Roy would have jumped out of the phone itself after Tito said that!

Outwork and outmuscle, yes, but outbox not usually. Oscar was outboxing him, Campas is not quite at that level, Vargas is also not quite at that level. Look Tito won fights because he could punch and used the tools he had as best he could. As far as strict boxing goes, his defence was loopy and his footwork wanst very good. Nothing against the guy, I always liked watching him fight but as far as skills go he cant compete with the elite above 154 imo cause you take his power away he has very little to go on at this point in his career though he does have heart... and a decent chin, maybe not at 170 though.
