Preme, don't blow a brain cell, I know he's fought nice competition and all, but to put him in front of Chavez, Pacquiao, Foreman to only name these three is ... IN MY OPINION, faulty.

If you tell me that you don't agree, fine, but saying someone doesn't have any credibility because he prefers 21 world title defenses and an undefeated record over a very unidimensional Trinidad, you are missing what a conversation should be all about.

Im english and i totally disagree forgetting how many title defences Joe Calzaghe has all you have to do is look at there best wins.

    Joe Calzaghe

Chris Eubank weight drained shot one
    Richie Woodhall
    Jeff Lacy
    Charlers Brewer
    Byron Mitchell
    Mario Veight
    Robin Reid

    Felix Trinidad

    Maurice Blocker
    William Joppy
    Oscar Delahoya
    Pernell Whitaker shot one
    Ricardo Mayorga
    Fernando Vargas
    David Reid
    Luis Ramon Campas

Also Welterweight, Lightmiddleweight, Middleweight, champion of the world

    Oscar Delahoya

    Ricardo Mayorga
    Arturo Gatti
Pernell Whitaker bit past his best
    Ike Quartey
    Luis Ramon Campas
    Oba Carr
    Fernando Vargas
    Julio Cesar Chavez
    Wilfredo Rivera
    Hector Camacho
    Miguel Angel Gonzalez
    Jesse James Leija
    Genaro Hernandez
    Rafael Ruelas
    John John Molina

Also again Superfeatherweight, Lightweight, Lightwelterweight, Welterweight, Lightmiddleweight, Middleweight, champion of the world this isn't even debatable.

Ok Ice Cold, point taken. I'll give in. Though, Chavez was shot when he fought DLH and so was Camacho.

But I still think, even after your demonstration, that Calzaghe should be in front of Trinidad. We'll see after Kessler and Hopkins.

The original list was flawed because it lacked legitimate historical perspective.
As far as where current fighters will list, you wont really have an honest assesment until about 10 years after theyre retired.
Thats why Joe stepped up to take the Kessler fight,he knows he's fighting to have a legacy now,not just a belt

Your going by numbers that don't tell the no where near the whole story. Calzaghe 21 defenses is a bogus record. Not only was he defending the low budget crappy ass title that is the WBO. But he defended it against 16 bums, 3 shot fighters, an overrated fighter and 1 prime fighter. And your impressed with that? Artur Grigorian defended the same crappy ass WBO title (Lightweight version) 17 times. And retired with a record of 37-1. You probably think he's and all time great as well, huh?

Well, he was the chick magnet back in his prime. Oscar won against down the hill JCC, a runner against Trinindad, lost crucial fights with B-hop (massive liver shot), Mosley twice, PBF. Won against punk asses Vargas and Mayorga.

That's pretty much the highlights of his career.

nop 'coz he lost a couple of times to some of the best p4p fighters at the time and ov all time... and even they were razor thin losses (hopkins excluded) it tarnishes his record...
