Well if Planet Terror was anything like Death Proof it would have been because it sucked.

Seriously death proof is 1 hr 30 minutes of torture cinema followed by a good car chase. It's so dull, so boring, so inane that I'd rather have my teeth pulled than sit through it again.

Biblo have you ever viewed the movie Gerry with Matt Damon and Casey Affleck? I wondered what you thought about that.

Nah I've never heard of it actually, or Casey Affleck, is he/she related to Ben Affleck?

I've not watched a great many films recently, I'm more of a documentary person but I enjoyed Fracture with Anthony Hopkins.

Everyone tells me the Bourne Ultimatum was good although I still havn't seen the second one yet.

Yeah it is Casey Afflick's brother. I can honestly say that it was the slowest movie ever. Like I think the actors probably got bored making it. Ironically, I didn't mind it. But I am easily entertained by anything that isn't Hollywood.

The older I get I find myself paying more attention to the dialogue between action scenes now rather than the action scenes themselves, a paradigm shift that surely shows how old I am.

I generally much prefer a decent psychological thriller over an action flick any day of the week.

Films like Fracture, the Prestige and Secondhand Lions I've all thouroughly enjoyed whereas films like Kill Bill, Saw, Hostel 2 etc just bore me to death.

There's still the occaisional action gem, 300 was one of my greatest films ever for example, and Gladiator is probably my favourite film but any film that just uses violence and gore as a selling point just turn me off now, as I just think they are signs of a director who has nothing interesting to say.

I want to be told a story not given a slice of violent porn, plenty of rape sites will do that for me

Can you shoot me a link to one of these rape sites?

I want the most hardcore one, please.
