I started eating two eggs for breakfast a few days a week. I get the organic free-range ones high in omega-3's.

I have been drinking whey for years, but decided to try to get more of my protein from whole foods then a powdered mix.

I have been cracking them straight into the pan and cook them very lightly on both side, so the yolk is still runny. I dont like the taste, but put it on some wholegrain toast and eat it down fast! I leave the yolk in because I heard it has some nutrients and I have low body fat and very low cholesterol to begin with.

The thing I have noticed most about eating lightly (very lightly) cooked eggs is my sperm count seems like it has doubled the past few weeks. This is reason enough for me to continue eating them

Think you guys are forgetting the point somewhat.

When you're training hard you don't have time to cook.
Wake up at 4am for your run and think i'm hungry, you didn't get up to cook or mix a drink.
Crack open 4 eggs into a glass and cough them off.

Used to boil them, but then of course you have to chew and eat for 5-10 minuites, and you'll need a drink.

I say they're perfectly safe. I used to do it a lot.
I weighed just above LWW limit and used to throw 6 eggs down the hatch in about 30seconds flat at 4am before a 2 hour run and a nap. Figure the fat in the yokes burnt off as i never gained a pound.
