I think Floyd wins by 7 rnds to 5. But it will be a close hard fight.

Chavez didnt keep the same pace as the fight went on, something i feel Hatton will do.

Yes because he was getting hit by hard punches Hatton got wobbled by lighting hitting Collazo at Welterweight and Mayweather hits alot hard than Collazo and is much better boxer Hatton at Welterweight didn't look like he could bully the top boys thats how it looked in Collazo fight.
Mayweather hits alot harder? I beg to differ wheres your proof of this? Old man Shambra Mitchell? But Collzao is a big man nearly 5 ft 10 who walks about around 175 lbs. Mayweather isnt hes naturally a smaller man. Mayweather wont take the sting out of Hatton with his power So Tsyzu couldnt stop him in his tracks with his power but Mayweather will?? Sorry but if you think Mayweather will want to fight Hatton in the pocket i think your totally wrong, Collazo did after first couple of rounds beacuse he was the stronger man, Mayweather will not be stronger than Hatton i put my house on that.
Well he managed to rock Oscar at 154 i tell you what Mayweather has underrated power he may not hit with devasting power but he has the kind of power to make you respect him.

Collazo doesn't have the snap to his punches like Mayweather Collazo has no real power yet he managed to rock Hatton plenty of times not just the 12th.

So Tsyzu couldnt stop him in his tracks with his power but Mayweather will??

I think Mayweather will make Hatton respect his power the fight with Tszyu was at LightWelterweight where he was able to bully Tszyu at Welterweight Hatton doesn't carry same power and he can't bully fighters at higher weights thats impression i got from Collazo fight Hatton's defence was terrible in Collazo fight his chin was right there to be hit all the time just rushing forward with no defence what so ever if Hatton was in Mayweather that night Mayweather would of stopped him and thats another problem Hatton's defence seems a bit leaky and with someone with the timing and speed of Mayweather he will make Hatton pay dearly.
You say Tzysu was 140, but the thing is Ice on fight night v Hatton Tzysu was/will be bigger than Mayweather will be for the Hatton fight. Mayweather will be fighting like a 140lb fighter his weight will be around 147-150 lbs the average weight for a fighter weiging in at 140, Collazo was around 160-165 on fight night, you see thats the difference, Hatton in reality is fighting a 140lb fighter, not a 147lber. Hatton wont have probelems in terms of strenght and power because he is not fighting a bigger/stronger man.

You also state Mayweather rocked Dela Hoya? Yes rocked him once in 12 rounds then went back on the run again, Mayweather might hit Hatton with a few shots that will be big but if he wants to stand in th pocket Hatton will win that war no doubt.

It doesn't matter how hard Mayweather will hit Hatton, it only matters how often. & combine Mayweather's lightning fast punches with Hatton's willingness to get punched to throw a punch...It doesn't look too good for Hatton.

Ice you cant judge a guy at one fight ice he might of had a off night i would compare hatton of that fight to what going to happen with the hatton fighting mayweather i think it going to be a close fight and i hop hatton wins but i dont like mayweather not a hater but i just dont like the guy and he bores me i know he is very good boxer but he bores me i have to take speed to stay awake in a pbf fight so i hope he loses and learns that he is not inviable but that is just me o well but one that note i still really want to see the fight cant wait it is going to be great i looking forward to it

May i asked what Mayweather fights you have watched ??

Ice you cant judge a guy at one fight ice he might of had a off night

Well i have to because thats Hatton's only fight vs a fast fighter and his only fight at Welterweight and the impression is that he can't bully the fighters at Welterweight and his defence was exposed against a fast fighter aka Collazo but i will wait and see like i said im giving Hatton a 2nd chance to show me what he is made of at Welterweight.

I thought it was twice he rocked him but that shows even way above his natural weight he can rock a solid 154 fighter like Oscar with one shot if Hatton expects to walk through everything Mayweather has to offer and can just come rushing in i think he will be quite shocked at Mayweather's power it may not be devasting like i said but its kind of power that will make you respect Mayweather and stop you attacking.

lol You really think Mayweathers power will stop Hatton attacking?? Please what elite fighters at 135 and above has Mayweather even come close to knocking out?? Im sorry Ice your over rating Mayweathers power way to much, the only way this fight is stopped is by a one sided beat down the power of Mayweather stop Hatton attacking wtf? Did you see the 12th round V Collazo? After Collazo has his 40 second moment Hatton came back and actully has the better of the round.

I didn't say that i said Mayweather has kind of power to stop you attacking i didn't mean Hatton but i think Hatton will have to respect Mayweather's power.

Yes i did i see Hatton lucky to not have knockdown called against him i also see him wobbling around the ring like a drunkman i also see in earlier rounds Hatton eating straight lefts and getting rocked quite a few times due to him attacking and not having no defence i also remember his face looking like he had been slammed into a brickwall.

I think hatton will be all over him from the first round til floyd starts with the elbow tactics to seperate himself then he'll try to counter hatton off.

One thing is for sure, hatton will be coming forward and floyd will be back peddleing boxing hatton off.

Hatton will need to keep active make contact with anything, shoulders wrist anything he can hit. If hatton keeps on a consistant pressure he'll get floyd to open up and if he can hurt floyd, floyd will be in deep shyt.

But I'll put my money on floyd s.d or u.d

    for the common sense.

Mayweather's power will not be the difference in this fight. Its Mayweathers other assets that will need to be utilised.

It must also be remembered that a lot of us had no real idea about Collazo before the fight. We all know Mayweather and what he offers. Hatton will be prepared for this and there will be no room for excuses.

    The better fighter will win.

I think this will be by far the hardest test for both Hatton and mayweather. And on the surface has the potential to be the fight of the year. Sooooo many variables, sooooo many "if this - then that" arguments can be made by either side.

I see it going like this.....Hatton putting on constant pressure, floyd back peddling and potshoting the entire fight (only occasionally looking impressive when Hatton stops to take a breath). In the end, it will be another typical boring mayweather effort leading to a sd for floyd.

We knew he was light hitter i don't think you or Skel are understanding i didn't say his power will be the difference im saying he has enough power so Hatton will respect his power you think he will be able to go rushing forward with no defence like he did with Collazo and keep taking Mayweather's best shots for 12 rounds ?? all i know is that Mayweather hits harder and is much more sharper puncher than Collazo.

I'm with you on this one ICE, Mayweather's power is underated. He has a great snap to his punches because of his accuracy and speed. It's not concussive power but Hatton is a joker if he thinks he is just going to walk through Mayweathers punches without any ill effects!! He may be able to for 6-9 rounds but if thats what happens then Billy Graham would be merciless for letting Hatton go back out there round after round.

Yer and lacy is going to be mayweather and Hattons going to be Calzaghe! there is a lot more to this fight than the Chavez-Mayweather fight and that thing is called pride and i know for a fact Ricky Hatton is going to have a lot of that come fight night. I wouldnt right him off yet, i think he is Mayweathers hardest fight to date at the momment.

    cc btw ice..

tbh i see it going alot like calzaghe v lacy...
Well Chavez had pride most boxers have pride i don't see what thats got to do with anything.
