I still believe Erik was robbed of that important win against Diaz. Go erik, knock Diaz out and prove to the world that you can still do it.
Erik is my man. A true warrior!!!!!!

i still believe in erik. he can still do it.
David Diaz is a southpaw. Hey! maybe Erik will use Manny as sparring partner this time. Pac is way faster and hits harder than Diaz.
I guess he wants to go out on top. He knows he can beat this guy so he wants to go for it one more time. The fight was close. I think if Morales had a little bit more in the tank he could have won.

exactly. it's just a question of stamina cos he lets himself blow up in between fights. he can definitively beat diaz this time cos i think he beat him the first time.Originally Posted by Mad_Dog

don't all boxers want to go out on top? Erik is still a good fighter but not a top fighter. Let him wail on someone and go out with a W.
No true fan of Eric's should wish for him to continue to fight. Eric was DONE after the second Pac fight. He should have hung it up right there and then. As SweetPea has said...he has been in as many or more wars than any boxer in recent years. He needs to swallow his pride and take care of his body and mind, not fight some second/third rate fighters hoping to regain glory or "go out on top." He has nothing to prove. It's always sad, and potentially tragic, when great fighters don't know when to call it quits.
really zhubin? so you are now a true fan of Erik? LOL.Originally Posted by zhubin

A rematch with Diaz I'd accept. But nothing more. He could take another 12 rounds against Diaz, only this time get it at a neutral venue to avoid the robbery. I'm still pissed Morales was denied a Mexican record thanks to a hometown decision. Things like this should not happen.Originally Posted by El Gamo
