Just because you have a man dazed does not mean they are done. Cotto never even went down for a count. Pavlik was not only knocked down, he was dazed out on his feet and queer streeting.

I will just laugh at FrozenStupid for thinking a low blow can change a fight so bad that it will cause a champion to lose.
The boy knows nothing about boxing again.

And to Slacker, Smoger is one of the best ref's out there.

have u ever been hit in the groin before...!?!?!?
I have been hit in the groin with a protector and it does not hurt. At least it did not hurt me. The first time Cotto him, it was such a delayed reaction and you know it.
The second shot was right on the money but, why didn't Judah take the 5 minutes allocated if he was in such pain? Think about it. Sure it may sting but it is nothing like getting him in the balls with out any protection at all. That is like wearing a plastic rain coat in the rain and complaining about getting wet. lol You arent really getting wet at all.

When Pavlik was spinning in circles like a ballerina the fight should have been halted and Taylor should have had himself a second round TKO.

    Kelly was not knocked out.

What did you think this was, Manfredo Jr. vs Calzaghe?

    Phuk that.

This is why Smoger is the man.

He knows when to stop a fight and when to let a fight continue. Pavlik was willing to get back up. Taylor was out and he never even tried to get up, lol he couldn't because he was out on his azz.

I can't deny that Taylor got his chops busted hard and that I am very, very bitter about it.

Still, looking back Taylor should have thrown a 4 punch combo at the back of Pavlik's head when he was trying to run away in round 2.

Man were we not watching the same fight?? Taylor showed me something tonight! Pavlik has 36 minutes to land his right hand and does it in round 7 and everyone is riding his nuts?! He was getting a boxing lesson up until that point in my opinion. The result was fair in the end what can you do..that right hand was lethal! However, I think if there is a rematch Taylor takes it. That lazy left hand became his demise. I can't believe people are writing Taylor off after this defeat. He has nothing to be ashamed of.

Well due to that controversy he had to come into this fight and show championship quality and I think he did that last night. The ONLY thing he did wrong which will haunt him forever is not finish Pavlik off when he had the chance!

    what do you guys think?
While Team Taylor thought that Pavlik was custom made for him...they neglected his heart.

The kid has been on the back burner & he boiled tonight. Even Steward was impressed & shocked. Taylor had Pavlik but his heart & chin kept him there. Pavlik was great & he & his team kept it together.

Kelly's corner was superior to Taylor's & money & a famous trainer can't equate to hometown comfort or drive.

Taylor coulda stopped him but Pav's corner pushed him & Pav pushed his way through.

    I loved it!

it should also be noted that pavlik was like 70000000000000000000000000000000000000000% above taylor in defensive ability tonight
