thats the same as the link pacstraight posted above. Let me try to explain

    Manny Pacquiao -260
    Marco Antonio Barrera +220

This here means if you bet on mab you will win a lot more than betting on the favorite which is pac.

    Will Go 12 Rounds +120
    Wont Go 12 Rounds -140

this here shows the odds for either pac or mab winning in the 12 round. its not far from eachother prolly because the odds favor pac winning more likely via knock out before the 12.

Pacquiao by Knockout (Even) This pretty much means its 50/50 or more likely
Pacquiao by Decision 2/1 if pac wins a decision a k.o was more likely
Barrera by Knockout 6/1 mab winning via k.o is unlikely 6/1 means 1 out of 6
Barrera by Decision 7/2 slightly more unlikely than winning via k.o
12 Round Draw 12/1 odds are against this result too

There have been far bigger underdogs than Barrera is here and it isnt the first time Barrera has been an underdog.

This will be very competitive. Barrera is as sharp as he has been in a long time. He is tuned up nicely with the Marquez fight.

yea those are just odds, they rarely play a part in the actual fight. I don't consider mab an underdog at all.

I can explain the odds (before they sold out to Harrah's, I ran the sports book at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas - dive hotel but popular sports book)

Example of a money line (as opposed to a "point" line, in which one team is giving points to the other team, as in football or baskets):
    Yankees -160
    Indians +140

When you see a line such as this, in your mind, picture a $100 between the 2 numbers (in this case -160 and +140.)
You "lay" the price on the "favorite" (-160) to win the $100,
or you can lay $100 to win the price on the underdog (+140)

In other words, give the bookmaker $160 to win $100 profit on the Yankees
($160 would get you back $260, your $160 bet and your winnings of $100)
or give him $100 to get back $240 on the Indians (your $100 bet, plus $140 profit.)

So, when you see Pacquiao -320, it means lay $320 to $100 (you give the book $320, you get back $420, your $320 wager plus $100 winnings.)

In other words, the books have installed Pac Man as a 3-1 favorite.
These odds are usually established to pull in equal betting action on each side, as most books rarely take sides anymore . . .

If you had been playing the sports book like you signed up for you would know this, but anyway here's the breakdown of american odds

+220 = You pay $100 you stand to win $220, so you would walk away with $320

-220 = You reverse it so you would have to BET $220 to make $100

So obviously the lower the number the better the odds and the lower the payout.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
