Oh shush, do you want Frank to lose all his moneymakers on the same evening in Cardiff? He's gotta look after his ageing heart y'know.

How can Macc look at someone straight in their face and say he wants to be the best, and wants to fight Haye and do this? Knob.

    So has Sellers.

It'll take Enzo a couple of rounds to get used to dodging his Zimmer frame.

The more I think about it, the more ridicilous it is. I'm a fan of Enzo, but fighting a 39 year old guy who wasn't even good enough in his prime is taking the piss.

Macc the new Galzaghe wasting the prime of his career and trying to make up for it when he is 35 with busted hands.

Enzo needs to do a Ricky Hatton and find a new promoter before he wastes his best years fighting bums.

Apart from Carl Thompson every time Ezra Sellers has stepped up in class he has been knocked-out.

He's had 1 fight against a clubfighter since 2004 and has lost 2 of his last 3 fights. How this man can be given a titleshot is beyond me.

Brave words from Enzo regarding Darnell Wilson but once again he's failed to back them up just like when David Haye offered to fight him and Enzo fought Bobby Gunn instead.

This fight is an absolute disgrace!

Yeah Ezra is well past it and shouldnt be in there . Enzo ius getting a rep for fighting nobodies when he fought Gunn on the Joe -Manfreddo card it was a complete farce . Me thinks this will be the same but ive seen Sellers live up close and he can bang still . He plays it safe and looks to counter so if Enzo rushed him and leaves his chin out you never know

Having said that I dont expect this one to last too long .

Why? According to Enzo's comments he has no problem with this level of opposition. He's not Haye.

Sellers has lost 2 of his last 4.
    The 2 guys he has beaten had a joint record of 23wins , 15 defeats , 5 draws !!!
so this is a worthy world title contender

A few fun facts courtesy of boxrec:

Combined total of Wayne Braithwaite and Ezra Sellers in the last 3 years prior to fighting Maccarinelli: 2-4.

But if you think they were easy targets:

Number of fighters coming of a win that Bobby Gunn have beat: 0
Combined number of wins above 168 between fighters Bobby Gunn have beat: 13.
Number of the above mentioned wins coming against fighters with a winning record: 1.
    Record of that fighter: 2-0
Number of Bobby Gunn opponents TKO'ed by Chop Chop Corley at 140: 1
Number of Bobby Gunn opponents: 21
Number of Bobby Gunn opponents (T)KO'ed below 154: 17

Enzo claims to be the best in the division yet he takes on Sellers that is a joke. At least David Haye backs up his work by fighting the best in the division even if he loses at least he fought the best away from home aswell.

And what comments have you heard exactly? i have done a good few interviews with him and he has called out cunningham over and over, cunningham has mentioned him about once and thats it. Even bell said hims elf when he was the wbc and wba champ they had been made good offers to fight enzo, he just had his eyes set ona rematch with JMM, that and kind promoted them both...

I think people sometimes let their disspointment speak for them before they think about things. AInt no one who wanted to see enzo fight cunninjgham more than me, or if not steve, but bell or carl, but i always knew it was a long shot... why? because warren trys to pad enzo? no... because this fight is on the undercard of a mian event where the purse is working out to be roughly 10 freaking million! Joe is set to get $5 from the kessler fight, and kessler wouldn't fight for less, both are getting 5 mill, that is hudge... Yes HBO are in this, but no fucking way are they fronting the cash they do when hopkins or other big names fight, it wont even be PPV anywhere...

The reason Enzo is on this undercard (his fight contract is with ITV not sentanta) is because this will be shown in the states, otherwise he would be on a card of his own. At 26 and a world champ he is still very young, it makes sense to get him as much Us time as poss, and he will be getting a damn good pay day as it is, and gav rees too... now considering there is no extra money in this really for enzo to be on this, guys like thompson, cunnginham and especialy bell are not going to fight for peanuts are they?

I know alot of the names that were looked at, and the truth is, if you can't get a "big name" you go for a guy who will make you look good, thats how boxing works. You can look bad and win agasint a big name and get credit, if you fight a no name, no matter how good they really are you better well fucking impressive or you get slated. Ding-dong is nobody, shit bell is only a somebody in the us to the hard core fans, so you'd be fucked if anyone general give you credit for beating the ding-dong man...

Again, this isn;t the welsh man or friend defneding enzo, i'm as guttd as anyone this isn't a top name, but you got to look at this outside of the box, from a career point of view...
