Yes hes nothing special. I'd say if there was one title only he wouldnt have a sniff of winning it.

The Mormeck/Haye fight will clarify a lot in this division. Thatl leave one recognised champion. Haye has desperate trouble making the weight and it will eventually begin to affect his performances. Add to the mix the power of Maccarenelli and his ever improving boxing skills and you've got the potential for a world championship there.

You seem to totally disregard the fact that Maccarenelli has being developing in leaps and bounds since joining the Calzaghe camp. I feel in a few years he may well be the one we refer to as undisputed.

The annoying thing for Enzo is that he is actually a really good boxer and hes just making himself look bad in the publics eyes if he fights people of low calibour. I think he is capable of taking the best at cruiserweight and i think he should take on Wilson next, that would up his ranking at the top.

What is Guillermo Jones doing? or the Polish guy who's name for some reason escapes me now (the former IBF Champion whom Cunningham beat?)

Hell...I'd settle for him avenging Lee Swaby! It's much better than Sellers.

For the record, Boxing News printed on Friday that Sellers was out of the fight. Can't remember who they said was his likely replacement...but I'll find out later when I get home and tell y'all.

It seems Enzo aint gonna be on the card...this is late in the game for a replacement...or atleast a worthy one.

David Haye's leftovers would be fine by me. Certainly better than dragging old men out of retirement to get butchered inside 3 minutes.
Hmm, wasnt Sellers supposed be in the top 15? Or is this actually why the fight might not happen?

Who would you settle for then, Rhun? Cause I don't believe you'd be happy with more journeymen like Bobby Gunn or ancient fossils like Sellers.. all these guys do is continue to make Enzo a laughing stock.
The basic fact is that as long as Enzo Maccarinelli is fighting on the undercard of Joe Calzaghe's fights he will not be getting the big name opponents that I want him to get, but with Calzaghe soon to retire in three or four fights, that's when I think Maccarinelli will come into his own and get out of the Calzaghe shadow.

The fact is that, as with the Braithewaite fight, when Maccarinelli gets the names he won't be on the undercard of a Calzaghe fight, so for now this is a keep busy fight. Not ideal, not what we want, but as he's more active than Calzaghe, the next one has to be a name.

I remembered it after searching on Boxrec...

Boxing News Magazine reported that Rob Calloway (67-7-1) is likely the man to take Sellers place.

He lost to Audley Harrison!?!!?! Granted he might have had an off night, but if Audley can KO him in 4, I'm not convinced he's any better than Sellers, but then again Frank does seem to be in the business of giving old dudes one last shot at the title in organising this fight... I suppose he's better than Bobby Gunn though, so it'll do if that's the best available at short notice.

I don't know about that. Like you said...he lost to Harrison...a future World Champion in 2008!

Apparently Calloway was offered the fight but turned it down citing not enough money.

Audley smashed his jaw to bits, Enzo would have sent him to kip. Can't blame Enzo if guys don't want to face him.

Why the hell is O'Neil Bell only number 9 and sure Braithwaite is better than glass chin Gurov.
