If Cotto beats Mosely any chance DLH will try to make a fight with him, or is he sticking by the whole not fighting PR fighters thing?

I would like to see Cotto fight Mosley, Mayweather, and de la Hoya in that order (that would be a dream as a Cotto fan). I wouldn't mind seeing Cotto fight Margarito, and I hope the fans won't get disappointed when they see a different Cotto that night. Since Margarito is an imposing physical presence, we will not see such a hard charging Cotto. We will see more of a back-pedaling, counter-punching Cotto, sort of like the one we saw against Abdullaev. This will expose Cotto as the all-around boxer than he can truly be.

I too agree with everything said but I don't think he will fight those 3 in that order. I think he will fight only one of the two (PBF or DLH). I honestly see Arum setting up a fight for Cotto (win or lose) with Margarito next summer before the PR parade. I also see Cintron beating Williams and then beating Judah later on in 08' to set up a great mega fight with Cotto the summer of 09' (once again, PR parade). Then I see Mayweather in the picture. 08' should be the year we see Cotto - Mayweather, but PBF will continue to stay away from Margarito and Cotto as he has done in the past. gee, I wonder why?

DLH - COTTO = could happen the fall of 09' if Mayweather decides to retire...........It should be DLH's going out party and be held in Puerto Rico since Oscar said he wants to fight B-C Class fighters in 08'.

I think that Cotto fighting Margarito is a bad idea because i think it would end up in Cotto getting knocked out because Margarito style would cause him problems because cotto's chin is not the best in the world and Margarito has the power to knock Cotto out and i do not think Cotto can knock Margartio out not to mention the size different Margarito should really be a Lightmiddle weight or higher i do not see this fight going to a decision i think Cotto should stay away from Margarito

Agree for the most part as far as bad styles match up for Cotto.Margarito can be a rangy power boxer with sharp shots and really throws from all angels.I think It would cause Cotto fits.I really think he could bust Cotto up.
I will say Margaritos is just fine at Welter,No move up necessary.Solid dicipline and Under the radar Mean streak bodes well in stacked Division.
Also a note to Opponents ...do not underestimate Cottos Power and Recouping abilities.

I know that is a war I would love to see waged FOTY written all over it, whooooo-hoooo. And you're right Spicoli, Cotto's desire to get up and keep doing what he's doing is second only to Jason from Friday the 13th. Knock him down, up he comes. Cotto/Margarito is simply the definition of attrition.....

Maywither has the ability to make any fighter question there own sanity.Speed would bewilder both against Maywither but I would place them at even money.Besides, upon Hattons Triumph over Floyd Its going to be a whirlwind of awesome matchups.CC back to you Mr 140
