As for Hatton how about his workrate and strength?

I do think however that Floyds strength may be underated.
He was strong at 140, but I don't think he would be overly strong at 147, guys like Cotto, Margarito, Clottey, Cintron all have a lot more strength than Hatton.

His biggest asset is his physical strength. When he fights in close, he can outmuscle his opponent, force them back against the ropes, etc.

Unfortunately for Hatton, I don't think he's going to get use his skills much against Floyd. I think Hatton will spend the whole night wasting all his energy trying to chase Floyd, while Floyd counters him at will.

Hattons greatest assets are his heart and determination and these are the things that Floyd lacks and that is why he will lose to Hatton on December the 8th.

His greatest assett has got to be his work ethic. This single character trait is with him and evident at all times, during training camp, sparring and during fights. This ethic, probably enstilled in him by his grounded working-class parents sees Ricky putting 100% effort into every second that he is engaged in hostilities.

I would say his second greatest assets are natural physicality and ambition.

Lol, Floyd may need to use some of that grease that quarterbacks use under their eyes to keep the glare off. Seriously, Hatton has good footwork, but not as good as Floyds; Hatton has relentless pressure, but Floyd's seen that. Ricky has a killer left hook to the body, which Floyd can't take many of, but Floyd has so much more in his arsenal than Hatton it's almost criminal. Floyd will abuse Hatton with uppercuts and straight right hands all night; well at least until the 8th round if Ricky is still standing. This will be a slaughter imo, as much as I hate to admit it.

I just dont understand why people think it will be a slaughter??

What cos he beat old man Gatti up who was shot to F****** pieces? there is no way in hell this is a slaughter, i dont understand why people think this?

Skwl I've been asking this quesion myself for a while now

Obviously workrate and pressure, but his workrate is effective because of his great footwork and balance. His handspeed is also underrated. Specifically, when infighting, he can shift his feet very quickly while staying in balance to land power shots. Lots of guys shift their bodies and move change angles to land effect shots, those shots often lack the full power of a balanced, technically sound shot. Hatton can shift his feet to change the angle of his left hook to the liver as well as anybody I can remember. He also knows how to fight dirty/bully when he needs to go there.
