The only round i thought Joe looked really gassed was the last round. Kessler took that round easily.

Great performance from Calzaghe. Kessler is a good fighter. But I expected more from him. He needed to let his hands go more. But Calzaghe wouldn't let him. Calzaghe-Hopkins needs to happen

Only a coward hides. It was a good fight. I was watching it with my brother. And around the 5th round I look at him and say "Fuck! Calzaghe figured him out already." "Kessler can only win by knock out." Kessler needed to let his hands go. But didn't. Hell, he couldn't. Calzaghe blunted his attack. And for that he deserves his credit. he threw 500+ punches which is exceptionally good for any world class fighter and caught joe with a lot of good clean shots. P4P fighters like mayweather, winky, hopkins don't throw half of that in their fights. give kessler credit he tried all he could its just joe is a superfighter who will give problems to any fighter.

Honestly...Kessler did a lot better than I expected.
Once it became apparent that Kessler's jab was null & void...I figured he was gonna get man handled like Lacy did.
Kessler threw a shitload of shots...but Joe (as proven time & time again) was just the better man.
Kessler can easily come back & run the division. Kessler's more than just a good fighter...any other man would have wilted under those hooks & uppercuts that he busted Joe with. I kind of lean towards what you touched on yourself when said...it had more to do with what Joe wouldn't let him get off with than the fact that he couldn't get off period.
Speaks leaps & bounds for Calzaghe.

Unfortunately most guys that lose the fight say if, if, if. I agree though, he just should have pushed it harder. But Joe may have had an answer for that also.
