Also a guy who i loved to watch was James Buddy McGirt this guy was wonderful to watch prior to his arm injury.
Even after he could no longer throw the left hook he still pushed great SWEETPEA close.
Dick Tiger was a top fighter also and he was subjected to one of the most classic 1 punch KO'S , by Bob Foster.
We could go on and on as this is a good subject but my 2 fav forgoten fighters are Khoasai Galaxy and Buddy McGirt.
    Ofcourse you can Dark....
I've only seen 3 Galaxy fights and from what I saw he was relentless as a fighter.

    Great post CMM.

We should have a fighter of the week in which people learn and talk about some of these forgotten hero's.

To be honest, I find it's a waste of time veering away from the P4P list as most people don't know or care.

Coggi's son is now a prospect down in Argentina. Coggi Snr was a sneaky fighter who beat some good names - although he usually lost to the very best. He won the title of off Morris East, one of my favourite boxing stories. Martin Antonio Coggi is now 17-1 although the opposition has been typical "Son of" fare.

So how about that Fighter of the Week?

Molinaras was new "champ" in the ugliest of ways (later it was reversed to a No Desicion).Starling had NO IDEA what happened,He argued with Larry Merchant "I was never down,He did not hit me",Poor Merchant told him they could have counted to 100 Lol.He later said He remembered coming out of the locker room into the ring and woke up in the Hospital. Now thats OOUUTT!!!
Right after that the commission in New Jersey Implemented the "banging on the ring apron" 10 seconds before the bell so fighters had an idea of closing rounds.
Regained title WBC by Knocking out Lloyd Honeyghan and his KO of Mark "The paul williams of the 80's" Breland was spectacular to win 1st title.
That was crazy.... Molinares and team celebrated like crazy in the ring while there was still some confusion as to what had just happened.
The way Marlon layed there was crazy I mean he didn't move for minutes...
NO S!!!!.I'll double the Damn Mick. This thread got cut in half due to the Transfer .I added Kennedy Mckinney and Iran Barkley,Frankie Randall and although he never had the chance to see how long He could go..Zack Padillia.
Oh crap..bak to worrk...They need a twelve step program for Saddo's

Bob Fosters 1 punch KO over Dick Tiger was 1 of the best 1 punch KO's in LH history.

CC for digging deep EL Barto.Man,I remember He came up on ESPN.They were pushing hard for showdown with Michael Carbajal off there olympic Fight. Was always entertaining and hard charger.
His "lose" to Jose L. Zepeda at the forum was a joke call..He fought the last half with basically 1 arm and I thought he still won.Maybe he's back selling vacumms now

a worthy mention is Alfred Kotey . Kotey was a good little fighter, when he was fighting at flyweight and bantamweight he was at his best , had very wide shoulders for a little fellow, a good puncher . moving up in weight was not to his advantage.
