Yeah Daxx; look at Pavlik/Miranda-Taylor. People were more interested in talking about what Miranda didn't do or his supposed weight problems than giving Pav credit, though before the fight Pavlik was going to get rolled over by Miranda. Same with Taylor. More interested in saying Taylor could have had him in the second round or he was winning on points by blind judges, instead of talking about Pav getting up and going right back to business and eventually beating the shoes of Taylor. I picked Mosley to win big, he didn't and all glory to Cotto. Get over it.

CC# 150 very well said....Hell I picked both JC and Mosley to win...but I have to admit I am not disappointed in the fact things went the other way...

As for Taylor he abosolutly could of had Pavlik in the second but for some reason did not get it done...IMO the loss may have been the best thing for him...He was getting a bit cockey and lazy in the ring...The loss may have woken him up....IMO Pavlik is not a better fighter then Taylor and if they met 5 times I take Jermain 3 out of 5....Yet that takes nothing away from Pavlik and what he accomplished...

As for your outlook on Taylor/Pavlik; yeah he could have finished him, and Kelly also could have not been making faces and got put on the ground i the 1st place. Either way, if if if, could have should have, didn't. Pavlik beats Taylor 4 out of 5 times, just cause Taylor will be wary of the only guy who put him and kept him down. JT is a better boxer, but he lacks in other places. Didn't mean to turn this into a Pavlik/Taylor discussion, my bad. Unless it's a draw, there can only be a winner, and a loser. Both last night deserve credit, but more should go to Cotto. Like the Tom Cruise movie, my "eyes were wide shut" in looking at Cotto's abilities. Nuff said

In my opinion...Cotto was hurt in the late rounds & didn't go toe to toe with Shane in the 12th. He moved & boxed smart...which Shane did in several of the middle rounds...he was staying the F*** outta harms reach...but Cotto does it in the 12th & the growing consensus is that he ran.

Tony and Cotto both eat leather. I really don't want to try and pick a winner b/t these 2, but Margarito's uppercut would be a huge factor if he could get it off. I'll wait to see if the fight gets lined up before i make another dumb prediction. All I see though is both these guys going to the hospital after this fight, if it happens.
