Kirkland is better than a club fighter, he's still a little raw, but he has the tools to go 10-12 if needed. Conyers has a decent punch and did what he had to, which is go all out for a ko. I knew as soon as Kirkland got up and started to come forward it was over for Conyers, he was pissed after the knockdown. His chin was exposed a bit, but he walked right into that punch

    I agree.

Still, if Kirkland were at a higher weightclass I would be more impressed with his Mike Tyson impersonation. Adrian Diaconu does it better...

Anyway, I am not sure why I quoted you to say this No Contest. It's not a couterpoint to anything you said. I guess it's simply that I agreed with your point and wanted to start with some kind of quote.

Damn, Kirkland is aggressive to say the least, a bit too aggressive probably. Remember that about him from a fight earlier in his career on ESPN and he definitely hasn't changed. Although I guess he composed himself more as the round went on and he did recover quickly from being hurt.

F***'s sake how did Conyer's manage to stay up so long on those wobbly ass legs

I think Mosley and Cotto had pretty god rounds even Judah and Cotto had great rounds.

This fight Marquez Vasquez was pretty good too. So many great rounds this year its hard to pick one.
