Tszyu was never P4P number 1, and as for Hatton beating Mayweather he will go to number 2 or 3 i believe.
Can't see how you can say he was never P4P No.1 as pretty sure he was at the top of the rankings in most respected magazines.
To my knowledge Tszyu was never in the top 3 p4p. Before Floyd assumed the spot Bernard Hopkins was p4p number 1 and for years before Hopkins took the slot Roy Jones was number 1 according to the ring rankings.

When Hatton beat Tyszu, Kosta was just about in the top 10, bottom end.

Hopkins, Barrera, Morales, Mayweather, Coralles, Castillo etc were all rated above Tyszu in the p4p rankings at that time as I recall.

Based on what. In 2008, not once has Manny looked like the best fighter in the world. Hate his guts, but how anyone can argue against Floyd is beyond me.

Based on the fact that Manny is a better fighter IMO.

Mayweather is much better fighter than Pacquiao P4P thats a no brainer imo.

Around 2001 Kostya had a good shout for No.1 with Ko's over Sharmba Mitchell and Zab Judah but I conceed that he probably has not been higher than 3 or 4 certainly not in America.

P4P is hypothetical, a matter of opinion. Floyd probably isn't even the best Welterweight in the World nevermind best P4P. Floyd was at his very best in the lower divisions but not at Welterweight - thats a no brainer.

Lennox was the best fighter in the World as he ruled the Top division so P4P doesn't matter to Big Lennie.

    Thanks for the list, man.
So Hatton has beaten the No.3 in his time and in December if he beats the No.1 then he has a legitimate claim to being No.1?

Only a British fighter could beat P4P #2 then P4P #1 in 2 years and then not be considered the p4p #1 himself. Sorry but it seems ludicrous there could be any other choice when you put it in them terms.

I think its all subjective cause the winner of Marquez-Pac will rank higher than the winner of Mayweather-Hatton again thats my opinion, and the winner of Hopkins-Calzaghe (if it happens) could easily be p4p higher than Floyd also even if he beats Hatton like I think he will, maybe number one. But for the moment the winner of Hatton-Mayweather will probably be number one, but that position wont hold for long imo.
