Eagle - I didn't mention any other nations, nor did I say that heart and strength are qualities that the British have to a greater degree than other nationalities. Your post seems a little paranoid. Are you harbouring grudges from posts that are long gone?

    RJJ

I know it was a one-sided affair, but when he fought Bryant Brannon. That guy looked like a stud and came out at Roy like a hurricane. Roy relaxed on the ropes and covered up and picked him apart between shots. One knock down was so embarrassing Brannon had his ass up in the air and his face on the canvas. And when the fight was stopped Roy was popping him at will, stopped and gestured to the ref to stop it, shrugged when he didn't and pounded on Brannon some more until he knocked him down again.

    RJJ-Toney
RJJ-Ruiz (not a great fight, but the historical value played an important part)
    RJJ-Hill
    RJJ-Kelley (the chicken wing!)
    RJJ-Griffin II

    Wilfred Benitez

vs. Antonio Cervantes ( A brilliant display of counterpunching by Benitez )

vs. Duran ( not the most exciting of fights, but great strategy by Benitez, completely shutting down Duran )

You know, although Kats lost, his ability to take back the fight from Casa after all those first round knockdowns was spectacular...

If only he would have kept his composure he'd be a champ now.

The fact that Casamayor was able to snatch back the fight after falling behind was incredible. Especially at his age. And after taking brutal body shots. Most fighters his age would of quit. Just look at Rosendo Alvarez against Jorge Arce. Mark Johnson against Ivan Hernandez. Irene Pacheco against Jhonny Gonzalez. Castillo-Hatton. All old fighters that quit when they started getting hit to the body. Casamayor didn't. The man is a great fighter

Oh, absolutly... The best part was multiple times after Kats started to take control of the fight Casa would sit down on his stool at the end of the round with this "What the fuck" look on his face... just looking at his cornermen like "Jesus Christ!"

True though... He laid some hellacious shots to win that fight after taking a beating... He's got gas left.

I thought he quit because he was being punched in the balls and it seemed like nobody noticed.
