Cotto is faster than Hatton, and packs more pop in his punch. He really answered a lot of questions for me in his last fight with mosley. He is much more technical than I first thought. For those of you who want pretty boy on the canvas. Cotto is the only hope in my opinion.

Cotto was sitting ring side licking his chops.

Anyone who thinks that Arum will not match Cotto against PBF, better think again because as I have said before, they have been grooming Cotto for years to face PBF and I think the time is right. Arum is getting a lot more mouthy regarding Floyd. I hope Floyd's pride kicks in and he wants to face Miguel.

I don't know if I'd go that far, but I wasn't really happy with the job he did in the first three rounds or so. I don't think it had a really significant effect on the way the fight ended, but I wanted my money's worth, dammit! He was breaking em up almost before the exchange was finished...I just thought he over officiated a bit at the beginning.

Maybe he was nervous, too? There was a lot of questions about how much holding Hatton was going to do, so he reacted to those criticisms.

I would've liked to see him let them work a couple of those out - the fouling wasn't that bad

Cotto is not faster than Hatton, no way. He still may have a better chance than Hatton had tho. His shots arent so wide and we have seen him take some good shots. Still picking Floyd points win in that one.

Cotto is deceptive. What do the majority of Cotto's opponents say after they have been beat by Cotto?
    Here is what they say:
"He is faster and hits harder than I thought he did."

Cortez was wful at the start but calmed down after. It's irrelevant, the outcome was always going to be the same.

as a hatton fan I thought he had the beating of mayweather prior to the fight. hatton was more than holding his own and I agree that the referee last night was a disgrace. however in danger of sounding bitter I will say that the finishing punch from mayweather was sheer class and hatton did seem to be getting more desperate as the fight seemed to be slipping away in the 2nd half. as a briton Im proud of rickys performance last night. he certainly wasnt outclassed in my opinion and was well in the fight at the time of the stoppage. Im also proud of the class he showed after the fight too.

as for cotto its definiitely true what you say about him being faster than most people give him credit for. I tipped both judah and mosley to beat cotto because of this reason and hold my hands up over that. however he seems to be getting better and better and would probably be a handful at 154 too. hopefully cotto v mayweather can be made but time will tell. as for hatton I think he is still a force in the sport at 140 pounds. lets put it into perspective he moved up in weight to give the pound for pound best fighter a hell of a fight. the trouble for hatton though is that there are no big names at 140. they all seemed to have moved up in weight.

Cortez was actually worse than i ever worried Nady would had been.

The way Floyd avoided punches was the main reason for them coming together. The way he ducks down and turns his body away makes it impossible to land a punch because basically it would be called a foul if you did.

Nothing wrong with all that.....but you need a referee who will let them at least fight their way out of a clinch.....when they do come together.

Either way, Hatton still did us all proud and Mayweather showed us why he is probably the best boxer of the last 20 years (yes he's better than roy jones)

I wouldnt go as far to say he was a sellout..

But it was blatant from the very start that cortez switched his style up for this fight

All the talk of cortez could be good for ricky in this fight obviously got to him so he went out and made a point to not let him fight as much as he might in another fight , like i said he changed his reffing style because he knew there was attention on him and i dont recon that was atall the right thing to do

they say the same thing about Floyd Floyd will put it on Cotto like he puts it on everyone else. Cotto wasnt licking his chops trust me. Aint know one licking there chops after watching Floyd out hussle and muscle Hatton and beat him at his own game then dissecting him like a surgeon. Your boy Cotto is Fast but he aint faster than Hatton in terms of foot speed. Hatton was giving Floyd all kinds of trouble early on with the way he closes the distance fast not handspeed.

Matter of fact Floyd is licking his chops because with the distance he would create Cotto would get carve up like Gatti. Especially how your boy Cotto is a bleeder out of his mouth and cant hold is mud at all. Floyd will have him choking on his own blood come round 6 with fast accurate shots. Cotto has a worse chance than Hatton did. I cant wait
