What was i watching? I had it a shut out! I was not surprised by the KO at all, this was not a close fight and Hatton was totally outclassed, i thought he would do better than this.
Floyd's defensive tactics worked and held Hatton at bay all night long and the Fatboy did not adjust.
PBF punched holes through him and the judges saw it that way.

The scoring was wide but alot of the early rounds could have gone either way the Ponce De Leon scores were bad also as were Lacy vs Manfredo i thought Manfredo won and i thought the DE Leon fight should have been a SD defeat or at best a draw for him.

that's espn's Dan Rafael's score card and it's utter bullshit, same as the official scorecards

i mean Mayweather was taking charge by the time of the stoppage, and i had him slightly ahead, but to say he won all the rounds but like one or two, is garbage, that's why Mayweather will never be respected by casual fans, it's the media's fault more than his own

no, that card is dead on. Hatton did nothing in the fight to say otherwise. Mayweather dominated up until the stoppage.

well its hard to be a fan and see your "guy" loose. I also had Calzaghe-Kessler 108-120 on my scorecard but the stupid judges were not Danish.

But here I can easy say I am neutral. Hatton lost bigtime, I will give him credit for his boxing heart. Regarding skills, Floyd was one level above Hatton.

this is how i had it

round 1 either way probably mayweather bc he finished of the round better but i thought hatton did well in the first half of the round and maybe hurt floyd a lil. close round

rounds 2 & 3 i gave too hatton for pressing the fight

round 4 defiantly floyd for pot shotting hatton a rew times

round 5 i seriously dont remember forgive for i watched the fight yesturday dont remember that round in particular too well

round 6 i thought hatton won the round but lost a point which i thought was unfair so i called it 9-9

rounds 7 8 9 all pbf
from 8 rounds on i felt the tied was really now turning in favour for floyd and that it was going to be difficult for hatton to come back from bc he took alot of hard punches this time

round 10 suprisingly i thought hatton started of well untill you know what

I had Hatton winning the first 2 rounds. He was pressing the action and mayweather hardly landed anything. I have to rewatch the remaining rounds again.

Firstly you dont understand what fans are then - we dont stop supporting someone if they get beaten, when we say support it means attend events (as nearly all the arena was filled with Hatton fans)

i believe the fight was reasonably competitive for at least 6 rounds, but after that Mayweather pulled away - despite your arrogance, my views are just as valid as yours - its called opinion

I can understand why people are confused with the scoring of this fight yes Hatton was pressing forward but when he got to Floyd he held or when he did throw punches most missed where floyd connected clean every time he was ready to throw.But forget the scores it was a great fight both fighters gave a great account of themselves the best man won the stoppage was great.

It doesn't really matter what the scoring was Mayweather, was clearly ahead and he scored a KO anyway.

Whoa, whoa, not that it really matters, as Ricky did get KO'd, but this was no shutout. I agree Lederman was way off, but I would have gave Ricky 2 maybe 3 rounds. Floyd didn't do sh&t for the first four rounds. I'm not saying Ricky was terribly effective, but he was making the fight. Oh and the guy who said that Ricky landed zero punches in a round, that was jabs, not total punches.
