Oscar will steal Mayweather's 2008 showdown with Cotto by slating himself to fight Cotto. Oscar will then win this fight and much to the ire of boxing fans, we will see ODH vs Mayweather 2 in October of 2008.

The only way Mayweather can head this off and save 2008 for full money is by fighting Cotto first then rematching with ODH.

If Mayweather lets ODH gets first jump, ODH will get a big payday vs Cotto and a big pay day in the Mayweather rematch. ODH stands to come away with $60 million for 2008 alone, whereas Floyd will likely get a measly $20 mill for only one major fight.

Mayweather can maybe pick up some loose change fighting Margarito or Vivian Harris before a pay per view in the fall.
