Cotto would get smashed mate, weve seen guys have him out on his feet everytime he steps up. Mayweather would pound him into submission. If the fight comes to be then ill happily put a sig bet on it or a cc wager

    Cotto was sitting ring side.
Floyd knew better than to sign a check his big lips could not cash

You gotta love how Merchant always seems to put Floyd on the spot

This is simply a hateful thread

Gatti- After offering fights to Hatton and Cotto at 140 and being denied he took the Gatti fight, Gatti was on a hot run and many people thought he would give Floyd a run for his money, we all no what happened with that.
Judah- Judah's warm up fight against Baldomir was a disaster, but many boxing fans wanted Floyd to honor his contract with Judah because they thought the upset was a fluke and that Judah was the real champion and he had the offensive tools to defeat Mayweather, we all know what happened with that fight.
Baldomir- After he destroyed Judah many fans said that he could not do that to a real WW, and they also questioned why he fought Judah instead of the lineal champion, so Floyd fights Carlos and we all know what happens with that
De La Hoya- People thought Floyd had no chance against Oscar and on top of that Floyd was 13 pounds lighter than his opponent on fight night. He was facing the SW lineal champion of the world that was just coming off a demolition of Mayorga. We all no the outcome of this fight
Hatton- People still werent happy after the De La Hoya schooling so Ricky calls out Floyd in his post fight interview and people thought Floyd does not want to fight Hatton, Mosley, or Cotto. We all know what happen with an old Mosley and we know what happened to Hatton.
Cotto- If he goes and destroys Cotto then people will say how come he did not fight Paul Williams, it's a never ending battle for Floyd because there will alway's be a young and upcoming fighter to fight. 3 or 4 years from now you will have fighters like Juan Diaz at 147 and people will say how come Floyd won't fight him. Floyd should ignore the haters.
