I believe he can do it! It will not be easy for him but if he can beat a legend in Bhop I feel he can take a Pavlik. Hes need a gameplan and if he believes he is the best he can conjure one. If he takes some big shots from Pavlik i do believe it would be all over. Pavlik is the favourite in the fight and rightly so!

It will be bloody close, but I believe he can do it. He needs to bring out a performance deep down and show he can do it. It will need to be a fight of the year performance but if he can put Pavlik down and really capatilize he can win the fight. If he takes his foot off once he will be put on the back foot and this is where Pavlik lands his best shots. Pavlik has good heart and if JT wants to beat him he has to show even bigger heart than Pavlik and really believe he can do it. I dont see this one going the distance, but i want JT to win it.

I think JC would beat him though

Difficult to find Motivation ?? i totally disagree, Taylor looked more determined and more motivated than he had for any of his other Championship fights. He come out swinging and tried to take Pavlik out of there in a hurry.

We had this debate before, and i will say what i said last time. Just because you beat fighter A doesn't mean you can beat fighter B. Different styles totally, Hopkins didn't pressure Taylor nearly enough and allowed Taylor too much room to use his jab, Pavlik has the right style to beat Taylor, he can out jab Taylor with his longer reach. And his constant aggression will always give Taylor fits no matter what Gameplan Taylor uses.

but if he can put Pavlik down and really capatilize he can win the fight.

He did put Pavlik down last time and he did really capitalize on it, he landed 44 power shots i would say that is capitalizing on the situation. And the only reason Pavlik got knocked down in the first place is because he dropped his hands and made silly face, that won't happen a 2nd time.

If he takes his foot off once he will be put on the back foot and this is where Pavlik lands his best shots.

Taylor will always be on the back foot, Pavlik is the stronger man.

CC, good point. Miranda and Taylor both did that with Pavlik; looking ahead to greener pastures, and look what happened to them. I'm not saying Pavlik is the reincarnation of Hearns, but damn if you can just mentally brush him aside like an afterthought, or you'll end up looking like a turtle stuck on its back

After the Pavlik fight my view of both fighters went up dramatically. I think they should go on a fighting tour like the old days and fight each other through out the US.

It seems people are quick to forget that JT nearly won the fight and quickly. I think he will improve his mistakes, though I really admire Kelly, I think he is great for the sport, has a Hatton feel to him you know?? He is a funny working class kind of guy you know. It is going to be a great fight. I wouldn't be surprised with either outcome, but one thing I do know is it won't go the distance.

Also if there was a different ref in the fight, the fight could have been stopped after the knockdown by JT even though he wasnt landing anything. It didn't stop the ref stopping JC against Manfredo
McGirt recalling the minute break between the 9th round of the Ward fight "He said, 'Help me stand up and I'll finish the fight.'"

Joe said he was moving out of the division long ago. And Pavlik isn't turniong Supermiddle it's a one fight only thing for Taylor and then he defends to Duddy.

I think Jermain will bounce back also and win the next fight convincingly. Hes the superior skilled fighter. He got caught. Watch and see.

Surprise Surprise indeed. Calzaghe announces he is moving up to light-heavy and everyone and anyone wants to fight him at SMW.

Taylor will get KTFO (again) against Pavlik.
Maybe Taylor should concentrate on his next fight and stop dreaming!!
