I think Carl Johanneson is more worthy of a shot than Foster. At least Johanneson is Bristish champ at Super Feather. Foster has done nothing apart from take a 6/ 8 rounder at that weight.

Don't think anyone should call Foster a 'bum', even though I think he has little chance of beating Arthur. Using the word bum is just plain disrespectful. Tam - would you go in the ring with him? I believe Arthur is a very good fighter, but he is being brought along incredibly slowly. This will do him no favours if he does meet the top fighters.

well the fact i weight about 4 stone heavier than him i doubt i would go in there with him, if he got up in weight i would Im joking of course i wouldnt. I suppose he isnt a bum but he isnt world title challenger worthy. He hasnt done anything and he lost to Derry Matthews and drew to Buster Denis i think his name was. Since then he hasnt done much and i dont see why he has his shot to be honest.

technically it is, but i agree that foster isnt world class, but AA is knocking on the door. This fight does nothing at all for him. I would be annoyed with him if this is going to be a regual way of defending his title. If he gets in with a live challlenger, he will get KTFO !

Fuck Alex Arthur he hasn't progressed in about 4 years. Rather than actually try and advance beyond the domestic scene he's just stayed where he is. No ambition and will lose by KO when he steps in with anyonehalf decent.

His reign on the domestic front won't last long as the winner of Johanneson Mitchell will end him anyway.

He'd beat Derry Matthews though, although I wouldn't put it past Matthew to eye gouge him or something in order to win.
