To be fair I think BHB actually was saying it was unfair for me to call him shit.

And he's right to be fair, Sturm ain't shit i mean obviously he's a decent fighter, I just think he's an underperformer and one of the most mediocre champs out there right now.

Point is I never said he was S*** all I said was I did not think much of him and he was protected and Wacko goes off on a tangent...don't put words in my mouth...simple

So far I think wacko and me are the only Sturm fans here...And even though I'm a fan
I have to say that I'm a little disappointed with Sturms last performance against Griffin...
I had him winning by a rnd or two,but some rnds were close so a draw is okay... he should
have won easily, but didn't do enough...
The loss against Castillejo was bad,but beside the kd in the second or third rnd Sturm won
every rnd taking punches and giving more...till he got caught again badly...Casti may be old
and coming from a lower weightclass, but he can knock out middleweights(like he did Carrera
in his last fight) and is still very dangerous...And thats just Sturm biggest flaw...he doesn't
have power(even though wacko might not agree here)...if he had this power(like Abraham
or Pavlik) he simply would have stopped his opponent including Casti...I mean he hits his
opponents with clean punches, but they don't go down...so most Sturm fights go usually 12 rnds
and thats taxing, because of this I think he shouldn't do more than 2 fights a year...who knows,
if he wouldn't have made the voluntary defense before the Griffin fight he might not have gassed
    out...

But be it as it is Sturm is still a very skilled boxer...
On his homepage his trainer is quoted that Sturm will do the Griffin rematch in april and fight
Castillejo again in july(the Casti vs Carrera fight was an eliminator...),its not for sure yet,but will
    most probably happen this way...

At the end of the day calling Sturm Shit is deroagatory to the sport we are all here to worship
The guys a world-class middleweight who's competed at world level in both the pros and amateurs.

To say that he's shit is not a good reflection on our sport

Modified: I just replied to Bilbo's original post, I never saw the response or Bilbo explaining further that he thought he was jus an under achiever.

Sturm wouldnt even be able to win the contender, but thats the next logical step for him.
