china chin herbie, always found herbie to be a funny nice enough fella but his lack to take a punch has cost him many a good fight.................. good to hear he's ok and still around

I remember Bowe said that Hide hit him harder than anybody had ever hit him. Im sure i remember Bowe saying that does anyone else ??

Maybe he did. Hide did well in that fight apart from being knocked down seven times he put up a good show, but was just too small.

At least two of those knockdowns Hide it the floor from the fear of what might of been had the blow landed, as he watched it whistle past his nose

I love when Herbie fights. You know someone is getting carried out of there and generally you couldnt give a shite which one of them it is

CC mate i totally agree. I remember seeing him fight Vitali and getting sparked out with a hard jab.
I think Herbie could do well at Cruiser, altho he may have left his run too late. Imagine if he win a title and looked good, we could see Hide v Haye. That'd be interesting.

And he won the 1st round against Vitali in impressive fashion as well. Alot of people thought Hide took a dive in Vitali fight but i don't Hide just has one of the weakest chin's in HW history.

Agreed....Hide could have been one of the top CW to ever grace the sport if he had settled down in the division....I can understand that the money was not there though
