It would have to be Jones.

If you work it on defences of the titles Mayweather still has to win his next 5 fights.

Jones also pretty much unfied a division. Mayweather is still to get anywhere near that.

Defence of Titles is irrelevent. Quality of opposition goes to Mayweather in each weightclass.

Roy Jones Jr. gets the nod from me.

And Floyd is now in protective custody for at least two years. Trying to stay undefeated by not fighting any one at all. I hope this biatch does retire.

At 38 Roy is still fighting

Well I just feel they are equivalent.
Floyd: Superfeather, Lightweight, LightWelter, Welter, Light Middle. =5

Jones:Light Middle, Middle, supermiddle, lightheavy, Heavy.=5

Of the five weights they competed in Floyd won world titles at 5.
Of the five weights Roy competed in he won world titles at 4. (He outgrew Light middle.)

At The highest weight at which he won a world title Roy took on the most beatable World champ available in John Ruiz.

At the highest weight at which he won a title, Floyd took on De la Hoya, a genuine (if over the hill) legend.

    Roy's big names: W Hopkins, W Toney, W Ruiz, L Johnson, L Tarver.

Floyds big names: W Corrales, W Castillo, WQ de la Hoya, W Hatton, W Gatti, W Judah, W Chavez.

And for the record....I'm not at all fond of Floyd but damn what a fighter!

roy gets the nod easily because of how he dominated everybody in every weight class that he fought...the man so good that they compare and wonder how he, a fucking man that started at LMW (154) would fair against the great heavy's of all time (5 weight classes north)... which to me in itself is a subconscious admission that roy would beat anyone in history that's not a true heavy...also

not once have i heard anyone make an absurd assumption that floyd would stand a chance in the ring with the great middles , BHOP, HAGLER, MONZON, JAMES TONEY, MW ROY JONES, and son on...please IMO this isn't close
