As much as I hate to admit this![]()
Mayweather is P4P number one and nobody can beat him.
Wether I like watching his boring style is another discussion.
How many Mayweather fights have you actually seen ?? because most of his fights are exciting.Originally Posted by steady_E

Well at the moment it seems to find a foil for floyd we would need to delve into the file drawer marked "ATG's"

The only guy to beat him will be father time if he hangs about to long.right now I don't see anyone out there to beat him

I think everyone at welterweight right now has a great shot at beating him.Like Manny Steward said he fought and older bigger slower De La Hoya.(which I still think he won) and a smaller straight foreward Hatton.I would love to see him against a guy who is a welterweight.Cotto,Williams, and Cintron would all do better than expected.
honestly, no one has a chance at beating Floyd that's why he's taking some rightfully deserved time off.

Agree completely on Mosley. The Mosley from the first Oscar fight would have been a handful for anyone...just incredible speed, reflexes, and determination. But even though he showed great heart against Cotto...he definitely has lost his speed. Williams would be a stylistic problem for Floyd...but i just don't see Floyd fighting himOriginally Posted by albsur2006

I agree, I agree, I agree. But now that I'm thinking about it, I don't think Williams could beat him, either. Williams throws 100 punches per round, but they are inaccurate punches. He paints with a broad brush, but misses his canvas most times and against someone as fast and as defensively good as Mayweather he'd land less than 10% of his punches. I think he threw that many against Margarito to blunt his power. He won't be worried about power from Mayweather and try to keep him outside with a jab and blast him with a right. Mayweather would be content to just tag his stomach and chest like he did to Corrales until about round 7 when the Punisher's mouth started hanging open. I think Williams runs out of gas and then Mayweather stays conservative, but has his way with him. I'll say Mayweather wins 8 or 9 rounds en route to a UD.Originally Posted by albsur2006

I reckon I got as good a chance as any.....but Floyd's ducking me. He don't want no part of this dead outlaw.

Williams has the best chance and as already mentioned, with his height, reach and output...I just don't see how Floyd could beat him.
Still would like to see Cotto vs PBF for 2008 as that would be more of an unpredicatable outcome and exciting fight!
