He still lasted 8 rounds with the undisputed champ many fighters would have quit long before Tyson did.
I never understood how this fight made so much PPV buys. Did everyone just want to see Tyson get his a** kicked? I've never seen so much interest in such a missmatch.

After the 2nd round he did quit mentally. I don't see how Tyson taking an a** whipping for 8 rounds has anything to do with this topic, he didn't put up good fight and was punch bag.
What apart from him being a washed up fighter who put on a good fight was Tyson vs Lewis not massive?

It doesn't matter if the fight was big or not, it still has nothing to do with this topic. Because Tyson didn't put up good fight end of.

Shut up Tyson hater he put on a good fight because he took his lumps like a man showed heart coming out round after round cut up just to take beating after beating and did'nt try to take an easy way out which he could have AKA Tyson vs Holyfield 2.

Oh dear another Tyson fan throwing his toys out of his pram because im just telling it like it is. Tyson got a beating, he showed heart yes but did he put up good fight ?? nope so it has nothing to do with this topic. How hard is that for you to understand ??

Foreman slugging it out with Holyfield for 12 rounds, is perfect example of washed up fighter putting up good fight.

You always call me Tyson hater even though i have gave him his props, and now you try and lure me into argument by discrediting one of my favorite fighters, but its not happening. The difference is i never made out Holmes was doing great against Tyson, he made it hard for Tyson to land clean punch and landed few solid jabs and few solid right hands but thats it. But i can admit that and not throw my toys out of my pram unlike you.

What makes you think you know more than me about the sport of boxing and so what i did'nt box what does that matter and have you even had an amatuer fight yet.The Holmes comment was just a wind up not me throwing my toys out of the pram but you are a Tyson hater.
What makes you think you know more than me about the sport of boxing

Because of the nonsense you talk.

what i did'nt box what does that matter and have you even had an amatuer fight yet.

I have had my 1st Amateur fight and i won.

The Holmes comment was just a wind up not me throwing my toys out of the pram but you are a Tyson hater.

Nope it wasn't you done it because you took offense to my comment, when i said Tyson didn't put up a fight which is true.

I would love to see Tony Tubbs vs Riddick Bowe again haven't seen that in ages, i remember Bowe getting undeserved decision, and the crowd booed and the commentators went nuts as i remember it.

Not a tubbs fan but he put it on that day.In and Out all 10 rounds.slickster and Bowes shine dimmed a little.

One that Really stands out as far as "washed up" fighter was Holyfield coming in and Beheading the man eater Mike Tyson 1st fight. There was actually commentators and Doctors coming out "fearing" for Holyfields well being "not wanting to witness Tragedy'.........whooops.Beat down 101.
