I see Katsidis kickin his a**. Less Casamayor shows up in at least the shape he did against Chico in their third fight. I'd love to see Katsidis stop him, but I doubt that would happen. At worst Casamayor goes into survival mode like he did against JLC.

I didn't even think Casa looked good at all in that fight. Just Chico was so weight drained, but that fight was what made me think Casa was really past it.

& the new undisputed Ring lightweight world champion... Michael Katsidis!!!

Nothing against Katsidis but that shows how, in this case, the Ring belt means nothing.

As good as Casamayor used to be I'm starting to think he's there for the taking, I may change my mind, I don't think that highly of Katsidis but I don't think Casa can keep up.

Casamayor may of looked bad in his last fight, but i still don't think Katsidis is that great except for he is exciting. If Casamayor is up for the fight he should out box Katsidis comfortably.

Not just in his last fight but even in the fight before the Santa fight he looked off beat and he was not the same 'Cepillo' we had seen before.
He's lost a step or two as of late and I think Kats will take advantage of that.

CC, I agree completely with that one. Katsidis has his flaws but Casamayor has looked far from quality for a long while now. Katsidis takes him viciously.

I though Casamayor was supposed to rematch Santa Cruz?? Didnt the WBC say it was mandatory after they reviewed the fight, WTF? Either way Casa will be better against Katsidis win a decision.

I thought this was the case too! Strange. Anyhow,I think Joel has looked poor in hislast 2 fights v the average Santa Cruz and a very very weight drained Corrales. The inactivity,age etc has all caught up to him imo and even though I don't think much of Kats(although he is dam exciting) I'll take Kats on points. I don't think it'll be an exciting fight though.

Well stated. Totally agree with ya....but, as much as I like Katsidis/much as I hate Casamayor, I don't think that Katsidis will win this one.

To young & inexperienced for Casamayor...unless he doesn't get up for the bout & comes in like he did against that last fellar that he fought. If he comes in unfocused...then maybe Katsidis will have an easy shot of it...but I doubt it.

No one ever said Casamayor was the best in the division... just the champion. Being champ doesn't mean you have to be the best in the division! If the best fighter was champ the title would never change hands! Just look at James J. Braddock before you answer & tell me if you though he was the best? But he was still the champion!
