Maybe not but Mayweather has dealt with all kinds of pressure fighter's and beaten all of them pretty comfortably, except for 1st Castillo fight when he had injured shoulder.

Look at the trouble David Reid was giving Tito for 6 rounds with his speed, the only difference is that Reid had poor defense, and is nowhere even close to Mayweather in speed, defense, ETC.

It would be a tough fight but Mayweather would win it, Tito is too 1 dimensional to beat someone like Mayweather.

A bigger guy with a good jab and enough power in both hands to change the fight in one punch. An efficient fighter who made his career as a stalker and finisher. Tito had one close fight in his entire WW career and that was because of one thing, and it was not movement, it was DLH's jab. A punch that Mayweather seldom uses. Though it is a good jab when he does.

What ludicrous comment did i make ?? i pointed out all the facts, you said that Tito would of decapitated Mayweather. So i pointed out and said that you are the one complaining about people thinking that Mayweather would beat Tito by UD. Then you contradict yourself and say Tito would have decapitated Mayweather, which is a ludicrous statement.

Tito was a devastating puncher yes but Mayweather has fought plenty of hard punchers before, the problem is that its hard to land a clean punch on Mayweather's chin. Take a look back at all of Mayweather's fights and actually see how many clean punches Mayweather has took. Fast fighters like Judah, Oscar, hardly landed any clean punches on Mayweather's chin and they are both much faster than Tito. For me personally Tito is too 1 dimensional take a look at the Wright fight for example, Tito was getting caught with the same basic combinations all night, and couldn't stop it and basically just kept following Wright all night long with no plan B. Mayweather would work out Tito's style in a matter of a few rounds, and would out box him.

Tito was a great fighter but he had flaws that someone like Mayweather could take advantage of, Tito would get pot shotted all night.

Tito is often criticized for his performance as a Middleweight and his fight with DLH. Lets talk about that for a bit. Joppy was a champion for just about the same amount of time that Hopkins was at the time. He was just as established as Hopkins as a 160lber. He had only one loss which he avenged. He was known to be the seccond best 160lb champion. And Tito destroyed him.

Hopkins is considered by many as a top 5 middleweight ALL TIME. And he was a big 160lber. Not only that. He fought a near perfect fight against Tito. Whatch that fight. It was perfect consentration and a performance from Hopkins we have not seen often. Being seccond to Hopkins is not too bad.

As for Wright, I never really considered him a truelly great fighter. He was a defensive master but he has been beat by lesser fighters and he fought a semi active, somewhat unmotivated and unprepared Tito in what I would call a stylistic mismatch. That fight is really hard to watch for me as I could tell Tito pretty much gave up around the 5th round.

Now we go to DLH. I would go as far to say that if DLH fought like he did in the first 9 rounds against anybody, and I mean ANYBODY, he would probably be winning. Again, it is a case of someone fighting a perfect fight. And Tito still kept it close enough to pull off the W.

At this point, PBF has not established without a doubt that he is the best WW of his own era. I have seen nothing that Floyd has done to tell me he could beat Tito. Yes Floyd has some great skills and is an all around better boxer. But put them in the ring together and I see Tito overpowering the smaller Mayweather.

Oscar made him look foolish for 9 rounds and if Oscar's speed was too much for Trinidad, floyd would make him look like an amateur. Trinidad never fought an elite welterweight (Whitaker was beyond washed up) so you can't call him the best welterweight of our time. there is no bona fide best welterweight for our time Oscar fought trinidad, quartey & mosley, oscar beat trinidad but lost to mosley, mosley lost to forrest, forrest lost to mayorga, mayorga lost to spinks.

Mayorga did NOT lose to Spinks. He got fukin Robbed. Therefore Mayorga is the best Welterweight of our time. Oscar and Tito beat him above the welterweight limit so it doesn't count.

Mayweather would be a huge favourite v Tito. He has the best defence of this generation of fighters and lateral movement gives ANYONE problems and Tito is no exception. However,the one thing Tito has which no other Floyd opponents have had at 147 is total KO power. I mean he could wreck an opponent. He wobbled Vargas with a JAB!!! The amount of power in his punches makes it difficult to TOTALLY rule him out but Mayweather would be a big fave imo,purely based on styles.

I would say Oscar at light middleweight had close to the power Trinidad had at 147... look at Trinidad's fight with Mayorga where he had to go to the body to take Mayorga out while Oscar leveled Mayorga to the head, and beat him quicker. I know that doesn't mean everything, butfrom what I saw of Trinidad against Wright it wasn't his power he lost, its that he has always had a little bit of poor timing compared to the great boxers. Against people who stand there he can land shots but he can't land against a moving target which is the biggest difference between him and his precessor Miguel Cotto who doesn't hit as hard, but he is faster and he is a better boxer.

Easily...Tito'd look like a turtle trying to catch...well...a really small, lightning fast, & mouthy colored fellar.

Personally...being a fan of Floyd's...I can honestly say that he'd burn Tito down with volume, accurate accumulation, superior defense, youth, & the fact that he's got about 10 times the foot speed as Trinidad.
