I ain't a fan of either guy but Ngoudjo just didn't do enough. 1 or 2 punches in a round isn't enough people tend to forget that judges also look for ring generalship which IMO Ngoudjo did nothing of. I had it 115-113 for Paulie.

To be fair JT Herman got an absolute hometown gift against Randall Bailey who beat him clearly.

After that 'win' he kind of deserved a close fight to go the other way

YES! CC. I was just about to say the same thing. They robbed Randall Bailey after he worked so hard on his comeback and in that fight with Herman actually showed more than one dimension and outboxed Herman.

Herman did get robbed in this one though. He had Malinaggi hurt bad at least once. He outworked the fucker. And he won the championship rounds. The brass at showtime cannot be happy with Paulie. After they hyped the shit outta his fight then had to bail him out with the judges. Paulie looked flat. I expected him to win, I can't stand him, but I expected him to win by outboxing Herman. Instead Herman waited and countered him all night, which was a very intelligent strategy.
