People at Boxing Scene be making up there own stories. I wouldn't take that as a credible story
It's got quotes from RJ bro.

It must be excerpts from his quotes because if you check fightnews.com he says that he'd be willing to fight the winner of Hopkins vs. Calzaghe or Jermain Taylor vs. Kelly Pavlik, he then goes on to say that he'd even be willing to go down in weight to fight Oscar.

Yeah it says the same thing. I just don't understand the point in calling out Oscar.

He knows that Oscar is all about $$$

Roy probably thinks that Oscar Delahoya vs. Roy Jones Jr. would be a bigger (higher grossing) "event," than Delahoya vs. Mayweather 2.

    He might be right, too.

Thing with Roy is, he has quite a bit of his confidence back and on a little winning streak so many will actually avoid him. He is no longer really a "Big Name Vulnerable", but is becoming a "big name risky endeavor" again.

The ones out there with more to lose, will avoid him. It is going to be hard for him to land a mega fight, which is what I think he is looking for before retirement. He wants that 10-20 million payday. There are still good fights though under the Taylor's, Pavlik's, Miranda's who would fight him, but he would get 2 million tops.

You really think so bro? I don't know man,I think guys like Joe,Tarver,Johnson,Dawson would jump at the chance to fight Roy. He has a decent win over Tito, that doesn't compare to fighting the aforementioned guys who are bigger and stronger and hit harder. I think they would fancy their chances against him. I don't see Roy as "big name risky endeavor" at all.I could be wrong.
I do consider him a risk again, but only to those who have the most to lose. He could become a huge spoiler at this juncture, simply for his speed and newly found defense. Tarver, Johnson, and Dawson would fight him, but he does not want them as they are not PPV guys like bhop and joe.

He wants Calzaghe, Bhop or yes, even guys like ODLH and he represents a risk to them.

The last time Roy Jones Jr was below 156 was 1991, no way in hell this is going to happen. I don't see why people are getting excited about this, its virtually impossible that this will take place. And if it did happen it would be a joke Roy Jones Jr is one of my favorite fighters of all time. But him moving down to 156 would be a horrible choice, this is quite bizarre from Roy Jones to be honest. Why don't he just wait for Calzaghe vs Hopkins winner ??

I don't see why people are acting like RJJ is calling out only Delahoya.

Check the article on fightnews.com. He mentions Oscar almost as an after thought after he mentions Pavlik/Taylor winner and Calzaghe/Hopkins winner.

Im not saying he called ODLH out im saying it would be a terrible choice from Jones if he went through with it.

I can tell that you didn't say that, but it seems like 90% of the people on this thread think that Jones called out Oscar and only Oscar.

He looked sharp on Saturday, and he feels confident that he can eat everybody and anybody. That's my take on it.

I think he'd have his hands full with Dawson.

That's the fight that needs to be made, too bad that we probably won't ever see it unless Dawson gets to fight Tarver and destroys him (he would) or Jones loses his next fight. but by that time, Roy might actually be retired or he may be so shot that nobody would give Dawson any credit for the win.

I can't see it happening at 156 but if Oscar could be pursuaded to move up it might come off.

To be honest I love watching Roy Jones against anybody, I even watched the Hanshaw fight three times.
