katsidis imo would beat casa within 8 rounds if they rematched, so strong and now hopefuly more cautious. id say he is a slightly better version of gatti

I'll agree with you on that one. I was getting annoyed with how much he comes in with his head.

I wouldn't mind a rematch, in his post fight interview, Katsidis was honest and said that he made a mistake that cost him the fight, so I think he learned a big lesson, and wouldn't let that happen again.

Plus, Katsidis was up on 2 of the judges cards before the stoppage, so I would like to see him be able to redeem himself.
Kats won't get a rematch... Casa wants no more of what he got the other night and the body work was getting to him big time... In a rematch Kats would not fall twice in the first and would be leary of the shot that took him out. Casa wouldn't be able to do much more then he already showed us... He moved well and outlanded the younger Katsidis but ultimatly the presure would get to him...

If there were a rematch Kats would be slightly more careful and win by dec. or late KO.
Look Kiddo. Casamayor already knocked out Katsidis out. There's no point in a rematch. Cuz Katsisids brings nothing to the table any more.

Katsidis is like Gatti in the fact that he has great heart, his face turns to mince meat each time he's in the ring and he is always worth watching.

Stylistically, they are two completely different fighters. The comparisions are a bit overboard already.

NATE CAMPBELL: "BE A MAN AND FIGHT"

"Everybody wanna talk about fighting somebody else whenever my name is mentioned," stated WBA, IBF & WBO lightweight champion Nate Campbell as he made it perfectly clear that he wants to face his WBO mandatory challenger, linear lightweight champion Joel Casamayor, despite the fact that nobody is eager to mention his own name as a future opponent. Check out what he had to say about Casamayor, Pacquiao and more.

The Katsidis-Casamayor match definitely warrants a rematch. Anyone who thinks that just because it ended in a KO that Katsidis has nothing more to offer Casamayor would be sorely mistaken. It was a hotly contested bout with fantastic back and forth action. Anyone seeing it otherwise wouldn't have had Marquez-Vazquez II & III happen considering their predecessors both ended in KO. Erik Morales DOMINATED Manny Pacquiao in their first match yet we wanted to see II in which Pac won by kayo and many of us wanted to see III. Everyone wanted to see Barrera-Pacquiao II, though by the time it happened Barrera didn't have much chance of winning. Max Baer (sp?) beat Joe Louis by KO, Kelly Pavlik beat Jermain Taylor by KO, O'Neil Bell knocked out Jean Marc Mormeck- 2 out of the 3 of those the guy who lost the first match came back and won the second. To just dismiss out of hand a Katsidis-Casamayor rematch when Katsidis was winning on the scorecards at the time of stoppage is just plain dumb. He got caught because he's young and Casamayor did all the right things to get under his skin.
