    Thats could mean something right?

Yea, how can anyone defend him fighting the Big Show for less than he would make to fight Miguel Cotto. It's a joke I tell you, especially considering The Big Show is so much bigger. Mayweather must have trained harder than he ever has in his life for that 5 mill
    Objection!

Seriously?? It's called SARCASM. Dear lord. Perhaps I should have added that "fighting" the Big show was probably a bit easier money than boxing anyone, let alone Cotto.. Although maybe you don't realize it's fake? Was fighting the Big show a big test for Floyd in your eyesI guess I really needed to spell that one out. I even put the eye rolling face in and everything.... Of course Floyd should do whatever he want's to make money outside of boxing, it's his life.

I don't think that anybody believed Floyd when he said that he was making $20mil.

Everyone knows that Floyd has a silver tongue when it comes to talking about himself.

The man lies!!! We all know this!!!

If anyone believed him when he said he was making 20mil, then they are seriously naive.

During a recent conference call with investors, the company denied paying Mayweather anywhere close to $20 million dollars. Most insiders says the real number is closer to $5 million.

Last year's WrestleMania 23 featuring Donald Trump had a buyrate of 1,200,000 and made $24 million dollars. The company was hoping to surpass last year's number by a significant amount with the involvement of Mayweather.
Hey Chamiley , can you tell me where did you get this information ?

I'd like to know where you're getting this info. It would be strange for the PPV buys to be so low, considering that this Wrestlemania set the record for the biggest live gate of any WWE event.

It was reported from a Conference call to WWE investors. Not sure where it originated, maybe the WWE site? But here is another interesting tidbit:

"WWE Chief Operating Officer Michael Sileck told WWE investors in a conference call earlier today to discuss WWE’s first quarter financial results that the company did not pay Floyd Mayweather $20 million for working WrestleMania XXIV as reported."

It looks like it came from here: http://vmsvideo.wwe.com/corpbiz/2008...1st_q_2008.wma

Boxing News : Mayweather's WrestleMania Numbers Disappoint
"Very few people really understand what it means to be a fighter. I hate it when I hear someone say, 'That fighter doesn't have guts. I hate that, I don't care if you're a world champion six times over or a four-round fighter, to step inside that ring, you have to have guts" Oscar De La Hoya
