I shook hands with him once.

I remember when Corrales fought Casamayor in there first fight. I was pulling for Casamayor to knock him out. To win. But it was so hard to go against Corrales. I remember him screaming "Give me one more round. Just one more round". I was like damn. The guy was a fukking warrior.

How coincidental or probably not.. those are the words written on his tombstone

I remember an interview where I learned he was also a trained chef. He talked about cooking for his family and his favorite recipes. I always hoped he would retire from boxing and open up a restaurant with some of the boxing money. Iwas a fan of his in the ring, and his personality made him so easy to support. He was a guy I would have loved to meet, to talking food and boxing. Rest In Peace, Chico.
