This would be a good match-up. Cheers for the info Diane.
I think it could be very interesting, at this point I'd have to go with Clottey. But Judah would have his moments!

I actually think this is the easiest out of those Sal and probably the only one I would pick Judah to win.
Clottey is fairly limited, he has no outside game and while he is a pressure fighter ICB, he probably has more stamina questions then Judah. I've never once seen Clottey look good in the second half of a fight. I think Judah will be able to outmove Clottey from the outside and it's not like Clottey is a real quick puncher out of that pillars defense like Winky is.
This is a great fight for both guys but I think Judah would win and I think he would do it fairly convincingly imo.

So Judah injures himself stretching his pride in the shower ....falling on a bar of soap and delays the Mosley fight.....and NOW he's the headliner vs. Clottey ....with Mosley in a WTF moment..........I smell politics

I can believe that he cut himself for avoid Mosley.........lolololol
Actually it didn't really happen like that though.. Mosley isn't just getting shafted here, because he(or his wife and Golden boy) refused to postpone the fight with Judah, while Zab's people were still trying to have the fight at some date in the summer. It is an odd move for Shane though, I wonder what could be in the works for him that wouldn't allow him to wait a couple monthsHope he doesn't end up on the sidelines for a while, he can't afford that and still has a lot to offer the division imo.
Zab Judah didn't take long to line up another fight two weeks after severely cutting his right arm, an injury that forced the cancellation of his May 31 fight with Shane Mosley.
Judah came to terms Friday to face Joshua Clottey on Aug. 2 for a vacant welterweight title, Top Rank president Todd duBoef told ESPN.com.
Clottey-Judah will headline a "Boxing After Dark" card on HBO. The date gives Judah plenty of time for his cuts, which required 50 stitches, to heal.
"We agreed to terms and we are drawing up contracts for Aug. 2 and sending them out," duBoef said. "I think it's a make or break fight for both guys."

It's a very good fight. Clottey kind of has an underbelly of interest and Zab needs a win. Zab's excuses for all his losses are that they are against the very top guys with the exception of Baldomir which was probably his worst loss ever. Clottey isn't a top guy this is truly a "must win", he can't get by making all these top fights anymore if he loses. For Clottey it's a good fight a chance to try to reassert himself into the picture with the top guys.
I think Judah wins, Clottey's stamina is just as bad as Zab's.

I'm going with Judah in this one. He can't afford another loss. And he knows it
how much do u think judah's going to earn forhis fight?
hes was suppose to earn $800,000 for the mosley fight
i doubt he'll be earning that much for this fight
sucks doesnt it
mind over speed and power
August 2 is the date. To be honest, both guys have good plus points but a ton of bad points oo:I don't think think either guy is super strong mentally so who knows. Both start off well for 5 rounds and both fade badly. Both over exaggerate when things aren't going their way. I'll take Clottey via decision. Should be a good fight and it's on HBO after dark.

I think it's a good idea that Judah avoided Mosley. Apparently he can't beat any of the elite. How else would he be able to make a statement about himself if he just lost again?
I'm a little upset though. Mosley would've sent him into retirement.
