Haye has signed a 4 fight deal with Setanta as follows (not 6)
The next four David Haye fights, all due to take place at The O2 Arena, which will be exclusively live to Setanta Sports subscribers as part of their Setanta Sports package, will include:
* David Haye against a top 10 ranked heavyweight opponent later in 2008
* David Haye against a top 10 ranked heavyweight opponent in early 2009
* A world title bout against a reigning Heavyweight World Champion (most likely against Wladimir Klitschko) in the middle of 2009
* A title defence if Haye wins the world title later in 2009
The current package with Hayemaker Productions also includes the rights for exclusive coverage of six Hayemaker Boxing shows, featuring at least one British title fight or better during each show.
OK have added a new sub title to this thread and have made it a sticky as this breaking news of Warren making a £600k offer to Haye to fight Skelton has come to light.
Let's not forget Skelton is ranked higher than Rahman too and took Chagaev the distance.
Shrewd move by Warren but will Haye take the bait..?

The Haye gameplan.................
Haye announces assault on the heavyweights...including promoters
It is gonna be an assault when David lays waste to all these clowns... Wlad will be ducking him for about 2 years unfortuately. Wlad dosent have the speed or footwork to elude Davids right hand.. Klit can try to knock down Davids hand all he wants like he did to Sultan, but David will connect it all over for that 6'7 floppy cock Klitschko
I really hope we are right in thinking that Haye can really deliver in the heavyweights division, got great speed, awesome power, great skills and it seems that his stamina is now not in question.
However i cant get the vision of Haye getting stretched by Jim Twite in the amateurs and nearly getting Ko'd by Lolenga Mock ( a big super middle ) a bit earlier in his career out of my head . If those sort of people can put Haye over, i dont think Klitschko would have much trouble but obviously if Haye lands first then i think he could easily topple klitschko.
