Why the hell Mijares is higher than Rafa?

    lol

cotto ranked below JMM, B-Hop and vaz??

mijares is classed as a better fighter than hatton, mosley, klitschko, casa, haye, kessler and margarito??

    those rankings are a joke
Yeah I can agree with having Mijares above those guys, he has been staying very busy against live bodies and having great success in doing so, just because you don't follow the lower divisions doesn't mean they don't get credit.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

I don't think Hopkins should be in there anymore.

About as many times as youve seen a game of football being played

That's like making fun of you for putting something in the "boot" of your car. Or taking the "lift" to your "flat". It's just different speech.

    2 and they were horrible

think 24 rounds of boxing (a good hour and a quarter) is long enough to come up with a brief assessment of a fighters credentials.

Mijares to my knowledge has never been shown on british tv and having lived in the uk all my life i think its fair to say i can be cut some slack on said boxer.

Now as i answered your question in good spirit.......

explain to me the offside rule, leaving no detail unturned...

Why the hell Mijares is higher than Rafa?
    Brilliant
Mijares is rated higher then Rafa because he's the unified champ and the quality of his opposition in his last fights has been World Class level. Not to mention how he dominated Munoz in his last fight and he hasn't lost since 2002.

For those of you who are criticizing Mijares watch his fights and by that I mean more then just the Arce & Munoz fights.

You know noone's gonna watch man, it's easier to just say he doesn't deserve it. The level and manner of Cristian's wins are going to go by the wayside of the casual fans, just because there isn't much publicity for the weight division as a whole.

    Correction:

I saw the fight too. It wasn't exactly a "domination" by Mijares at all. Mijares couldn't really hurt Munoz and the fight ended up via SD.

Vazquez didn't really defeat Rafa convincingly.

Rafa should be in #9 spot, and Mijares in #10.

The majority of people that I talked to thought it was a dominant performance.
    Deanrw, youngblood, Spicoli and myself.
I think Galaxy also thought it was all Mijares.
That aside because it's subjective and I can see how you think that it was not a dominant performance.

    I want to correct you...

Correction: Mijares DID hurt Munoz. He hurt him 3 times in the fight twice with a looping left hook and once with straight right.

One judge had it 115-113 for Munoz unless you agree with that you and I and everyone whos seen the fight know that there is NO possible way Munoz won that fight. Never the less by 2 points and let's keep in mind he had 1 point deducted.

Izzy convinced me that he beat Rafa, he convinced me in the rematch that he could beat him no matter how many times they fought. Rafas one of my fav. and if you see the predictions on fight #3 I said I was rooting for Rafa but knew Izzy would win. (Several people here even PM me on how I could predict a Rafa win in the prediction competition but yet still know that Izzy would win)

We have different opinions obviously. Domination for me is a one-sided beating, which I didn't see that at all.

A draw would've been more appropriate in Rafa-Izzy 3. Ref Pat Russel even acknowledged his mistake with the low blow.

That's what I said, dominance can be subjective.
But there is NO doubt in my mind that he beat Munoz and he hurt Munoz in the fight.

The key factor in Izzy-Rafa is the left hook. So as long as Izzy throws it and lands Rafa can't take that shot. I think those 2 can fight 5 more times and Izzy would win 5 times. (Keep in mind I'm a Rafa fan)
