Having actually made the effort to watch a bit of Lockett recently... HELL no.

No....till someone can bully up and keep pavlik from making guys fight going backwards he'll beat most of the guys he faces right now. Not all but most. I think this is just a set up for bigger things and lockett is in way over his head.

Nope. From what ive read he doesn't seem to give himself a hope in hells. He does have a decent punch.. albeit at a lower level.

I don't really gamble, but If I had a bookie or something I think that would be worth a couple bills. Theres every chance Pavlik just blasts him out of there dead early, 14/1 sounds too tempting to pass up really. Locket is not hard to hit.

Fact - The odds are against him.
Fact - He is a good honest pro and a good guy .
Fact - He will bring all to the table.
Fact - He will lose by KO.

Those are my thoughts.

I'm with you, he seems to be saying all the right things but I just get the impression that he's glad of the final payday, and (while he obviously would like to win) the genuine 'Rocky' like hunger to overcome the odds just isn't there.

I'm sure ny kick off I will have persuaded myself that he has a decent chance, but tat will sson come crashing down when he's taken out in the first 3 rounds.

Lockett is 14-1 just for a straight win!!Im betting on him even known Pavlik will win(pavlik70,to Lockett 30)but it's the old saying AGAIN....It only takes one punch to change a fight and bring a big surprise to the game.It's happened before and it'll happen in the near future...Could happen on the 7th of june(History in the making!)thats why im putting a £10 bet on Lockett....YOU NEVER KNOW!Great odds for a two horse race
