Its US athletes man, not US based! And I don't think he earns as much as Tiger. He'd get a shit load from advertising, but Tiger Woods does too!

How do golfers earn so much money? Its a shit sport. Actually its a hobby!

i know, its a lovely sport to play, but who the hell could actually stomach to sit down and watch golf

give me 2 fellas knocking seven bells out of eachother rather than deciding whether to use an 8iron or flop wedge everyday of the week!!!

Golfers are paid alot because of the elite ways off the sport. It is a very expensive sport to compete in, the endorsements are huge because the products are expensive. There is just alot of money in it.

NBA players are on the list so much because they make so much. Their average salary is $4.9 million which is the highest average of any American sports. That's because of the long season coupled with the fact that there are a lot less NBA players then there is anything else in team sports.

Boozeboxer hit it on golf, and it is an exciting sport, I watch all the majors. Hard to watch much else though especially if it's like the first round of the Pheonix Open.

Tiger's endorsement power is huge because of the cross-over ability he has to virtually any medium. To any sports fan.

EVERYONE knows who Tiger is, and generally most everyone likes him. So regardless of what his name ends up on, it will sell. It ends up on the things it does, because those companies can pay out what his marketability worth is. And it's huge.
