He get him some experience fighting in the UK to help him for a future Joe C showdown if it happens in Millenium. I would pay good money to see this.
Froch is from Nottingham not Sheffield.
Duhh, DLA already corrected me. Little John, Robin Hood, and Carl Froch. Now I know

I've got faith that the Cobra would KO Pavlik in the late rounds.

Froch is the real dark horse of boxing.

I feel that Froch will do a lot better than most of you really think. Hes not going to stand there like lockett did and be a punch bag, Froch actual is quick on his feet. He knows when there is danger to get out of there and throw counters on his way out. He's not going to simply go in with the game plan, last man standing. That gameplan hasnt obviously worked before. If he wants to win a fight against Pavlik he really does need to hurt him and hurt him early to really slow him down. If he could land some right hands in early I rekon that the later rounds will be awesome to watch. Im not doubting Kelly to stop Carl because I feel Kelly is an amazing fight with outstanding power. But Carl himself also has outstanding power and their styles match up to be a very entertaining fight IMO.

Carl won't simply just stand there and get punched, like some of you say he will. Hes a clever fighter and hes improving a lot too. I also doubt that this fight would happen to be honest, I dont see Kelly leaving the US for a risky fight abroad and the same for Carl too. Unless they were both champions and having to prove something this fight wont happen for a long time. It wont be both of thier next ones I know that for sure.

That's a very good point. He might find Ryan Rhodes there tho.

To be honest Froch has the power to KO Pavlik. Froch is a big super middle weight and it would be interesting to see how Pavlik deals with his power and how much of an effect Pav's punches have on Froch (who has a very good chin imo).

We need to get some perspective on Pavlik. He isn't super man. He looked good last night against a sitting duck of an opponent who pretty much had no gameplan. He can be hurt. I just hope people don't start with the Pavlik's invincible talk. He's very good at what he does and he's very effective but he's also very beatable.
And have perspective on Froch. He's never beaten anybody, he's technically flawed, and that low left invites disaster from Pavlik. Pavlik isn't superman, but he is a technically superior fighter who would throw straight punches right between Froch's wide, looping shots. Pavlik has beaten Edison Miranda and Jermaine Taylor twice. I would favor either of those fighters against Froch. Froch beat a shot Robin Reid. Pavlik is two inches taller with equal reach. There isn't much size difference.
I agree that Pavlik's resume is streets ahead of Froch's and Froch's low left could spell disaster.

But Froch is naturally very big. Probably bigger framed then Pavlik. Naturally stronger as wel. I think he would have the edge in power personally. People will disagree as Pavlik has a lot of power. I think Froch probably has a stronger chin aswel.

Not saying those advantages mean Froch would win, just don't think the fight would be a forgone conclusion.

Im with the minority that think Froch would spark Pavlik. I'd be more confident of Froch beating Pavlik than I would Calzaghe, its a timing thing.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

Disagree that Pavlik has much power? 30 KO's out of 32 wins, including Miranda, Taylor, Zertuche, and Mckart. Oh, and Lockett, too, I guess. How can we know if Froch has more power or a better chin when he's never fought anybody decent? Even if Froch has more power, Pavlik's jab is miles head and would be able to keep Froch off him.

I don't think Froch is terrible. He has some physical tools and some skills, but he punches very wide and he's pretty sloppy. I don't think he's fast and slick enough to get away with that low hand crap against world class opposition like Pavlik, Miranda, or Kessler. Pavlik has some flaws, but he's a much more complete fighter.

I agree that his would be a great fight while it lasts. Froch would certainly have the power to hurt Pavlik if he let himself get caught.
